Maybe Nanki - Evalds though has shown what he can do & I would guess IH has plans for him. Talent with 'awareness' which I believe to be necessary to hit the top.

Or maybe just maybe that Locke is a proven world class full back that the club have invested early in and are marketing equally as heavily.

I think the club and the Doc know the huge talent that Evalds has and more importantly I think that the Doc has learned a lessons from the whole Sneyd debacle about sending younger players out on load for the full season, my thoughts are that next season he will be in the starting 17 or thereabouts.

I have a feling Sam Tomkins will not be long before he returns to Wigan: two years or so would be my estimate. What happens then? Locke could move back? If Evalds keeps his nerve, then I think he'll find himself a regular in the team.

With Williams going to Bradford this week it should mean Evalds takes his place and Locke comes in at FB. For the Hull game anyway. Don't think Locke will play until the home game.

I think Evalds is definite starter but it will be most probably be on the wing, i'd like to see a backline of;

Locke
Johnson
Caton-Brown
Sau
Evalds

Reading an interview with NZ Herald (I think it was) saying he's been training with Salford and felt a bit sick with jet-lag. Which is fair enough as he stepped off the plane and went staright into a training session. He also admits in the interview that he needs to get fitter. So I'm guessing that him missing out playing every week in the NRL has caused his fitness to drop, so I'd put money on the Hull game as his debut. Would make sense from a marketing perspective too, although it piles the pressure on him a little. Saying that, a player of his calibre should be more than capable of handling the pressure.
