| Quote Early Bath="Early Bath"Not really Barton - Maybe we should be fighting back. Besides Barrow are not in SL are they? Just feel we should be on the hunt for even more youth and go into the next Franchise scenario with a full team of British lads. I feel that would be our best approach and certainly acceptable to the RFL.'"
Brilliant notion, we go down this road and hope that we get some that appriecate the break and chance to play in the big time and show loyalty to the club and eventually we get a solid squad of youngesters who can form the long termback bone of the team and we become somewhat of a beacon and as yuo say it can't help with what will be a near impossible task of secureing the next franschise without a stadium worthy of SL.

SALFORD City Reds look set to lose the services of two tremendous talents.
For England international scrum half Richard Myler has turned down the biggest contract offer in the club’s history and is widely reported to have been lined up to replace Barrow-bound Lee Briers at Warrington Wolves.

Didn't even realise any rumours of us looking at him were serious...? Then again they do get half their rumours from these boards
Regardless of what people say about him, he's a quality player and I would definitely have him at the club if we could get him as a replacement for Myler.

| Heard we are after Shane Tronc from NQC along with Wakefield, Could this be the reason that stapleton hasnt been given a new deal?
Also heard we have spoken to Rocky Trimarchi, young back row forward to replace leuluai with parker moving prop

He is a promising young player who would be a very good signing. He is very much one for the future though but he is a big lad for his age. I have heard this rumour too as I was told he doesnt want to return to Wigan because he has been treated badly. This is a recurring theme with young Wigan players, although their fans always deny it. I think it is probably more likely that he will stay at Huddersfield but you never know. I would also imagine that other clubs would be interested in him.

Given that Mossop has received a lot of praise since going on loan to Huddersfield and that he's shown so much promise my guess is that the only way he'd be playing for us next season would be if he was involved in a swap deal for Myler.

Quote Salford Advertiser="Salford Advertiser"The Reds have this week been linked with Widnes prop Michael Ostick while it has been reported that their Kiwi legend Robbie Paul could emerge as a contender for the vacant player/coach job at York.'"
Can't say I know much about Ostick - not watched much of the Championship this season. Anyone seen him in action at all?
