Whittards did go into administration and were then bought out by a private equity firm

The fact that they are moving out of TTC is an indication that they cannot afford the sky high overheads for operating there - it would be interesting to know how the legalities have worked out as my understanding is that most shops in there are offered an a 15 year lease

| Want to improve crowds next year:
Season tickets £100.
Half season tickets £50.
Annual membership scheme. £20 for the year and get £5 off match tickets.
£15 pay on the gate price. So anyone who buys a membership can get in for £10 per game with the £5 discount.
We need to get the 'casual' fans attending on a more regular basis.
Also, reduced prices would be seen as a good gesture from the club towards the fans after all the talk this season about how the club are not bothered about the supporters.
Sorry if I have nicked anyones ideas. Not read the full thread.

Great idea Karlos, the only trouble i can see is that the club need every penny it can get and lowering the season ticket prices which i think are a very good value, could be a non starter. i suppose Hudders took a gamble and it may have worked, but they also signed some good players which also drew the crowds but no disrepect to our signings, they havent set the world alight YET and as i think prestwich red has already said. until salford build a team that can compete for honours, we will struggle to attract more fans.

50% decrease in season tickets prices, 10% increase in season ticket sales.
Sounds a lot like a gamble that didn't pay offfor Shudds?!

| We aren't paying for the Stadium, which is why it is taking so long.
The original idea was for Peel to agree a deal to "allow" the use (i.e pay very little)
Lets face it we have to do something different as even the fans we do have aren't getting to the games.

| As we know we are in Superleague for the next two seasons at Least why don't the club do a two year deal on a season ticket, that way we would increase the revenue coming into the club, and prepare us for a move into the new stadium, which with the new fans would compensate for the loss of revenue in the second season.

sounds good to me, say around £280-290 for a two year season ticket sounds good.

I think the club relys on the season ticket sales each season so they have money in the pot, for a two season season ticket you'd have a massive pot to start with but for the 2rd season maybe not enough to buy anyone.
I remember when we didnt have a home game for it felt like 8 month this season, and there was bit lack of cash flow then, good idea in thery but i think you would have to have a serious budget so we dont go boom and bust.

| There has been some good ideas on here from various people. I wonder if anyone from the club will use them or put them forward to the right people. As a few have said, whats happened to the big match day posters that were at the hope and along the height? I always remember the one with korki looking massive, sporting a black eye! Plus the school scheme was a great idea! Thats what got me down to the willows when i was in school, now i've been going for 6 years after leaving, also still see alot from school who have done the same thing.

| Got to be honest I think the £17 admission price is crazy, for someone like me who doesn't buy a season ticket due to work reasons turning up to a game, a few massivley over priced 3/4 pints in the ground and transport becomes a very dear do indeed.
A good idea for me for floating visitors would be that if you turn up with a child under 13 you get cheaper admission as the kids are the future of the club.
