The new stadium is the place of work for Salford RLFC. They negotiate with the owning company on certain matters but as this place, like so many in entertainment, has to fix its name, its colour scheme, its pricing, and when it will be available, we will be stuck with decisions the company makes. We can look for somewhere else if we do not like this. We can try to rent a different stadium but Old Trafford may be a bit ambitious and Leigh already booked.

Short-term yes but the long-term is worrying:
-our crowd impresses no one (except in passion) and Super League demand better
-we depend a great deal on Mr Wilkinson's finances and he is not a spring chicken
-we also need to build on this season so we are attractive to the stadium company.

Just had a ride down and looked at the heinous blue seats and there is infact two different shades of blue seats, give you all double to bitch about.



Were you one of the people who actually didn't/don't like playing on a Friday? As I said when I spoke to the club before for next season the only reason the club will change from Fridays will be if SKY wan to put us on the box.



If it doesn't it won't be because the seats are blue, we have to change playing days because of other tennants it will be because the club is poorly run and the fodder on the pitch is crap.

Can I just say, and it doesn't really link with the seat argument, that people keep saying that it isn't our stadium (and how much does it fell like that right now

) but can I just add that if it wasn't for Salford City Reds RLFC and it's need for a stadium that provides the standards that Super league and indeed the licence process requires, there wouldn't be a stadium at all. There is no way the Council and to a bigger extent Peel would have even thought about the concept let alone funded the building of it, if it hadn't been for Red City Developments initial idea which was to safeguard, secure and future fund the Rugby club then as I say there would be no stadium, it hasn't/isn't been built for Sale, Swinton, Man Utd or anyone else for that matter, it’s being built for Salford Rugby League and the wider Salford community, so is it our stadium? Just a thought.

How very dare you bring common sense and a non alarmist view to things, you should have your head firmly lodged up your ar$e and be bleeting on about being second class tennants.

With us at present being the only paying tenants then surely it is in Peel's and the Council's interest that we succeed? Especially as there will be debts on all sides to pay off.

Can I suggest this is the perfect tune for the players to run out too?
