Oooh, this is debateable. Fractals are difficult to define and understand - just like Super league squads beyond number 17 - but the common theme is self-replication. Do fractions of fractions exhibit self-replication? I don't believe they do. Self-replication implies infinite replication within a finite domain, while dividing a fraction by a fraction is the same as multiplying the top by the denominator of the bottom. As we are multiplying by a number greater than or equal to one, and doing it an infinite number of times, the result is infinite too.
Having achieved smug, I'm now aiming for ty.

| I had a quick look at your squad the other night when thinking about our first game and I thought "jeez, that looks good", and you have a good coach. I think Salford will be fascinating this season, with some belting games and the real mystery factor. It might take a few rounds for the word to spread, but if you have the season I expect, next winter's figures may be wholly different.
I'm not sure you'll topple Wigan, Wire, Leeds and Giants just yet, but I'm expecting you to be one of the ones in the immediate pack behind, along with Saints and Hull.
My only hope is that you won't have gelled in the first game.

| Quote: Wire Yed "Marwan just needs to realise it's going to take a little longer than he realised it would, this current Salford team to anyone that knows rugby isn't going to win SL, we can all see that, it's a competitive side that will win more than it loses and will compete and beat some of the big boys but it doesn't have the full package, the depth or even the youth system to call on.
It's hard to attract top players to a side that hasn't looked like winning a title for decade unless you pay big bucks, which because of the salary cap isn't possible.
If this side gets a playoff spot, next season it becomes easier to recruit a higher standard of player without necessarily paying out as much. This turns the team into a better team than season one, season three then becomes the season when you can invite pretty much anyone to join a side that has the potential for a GF win.
With mega bucks season 3 is the key season not season 1, season 1 is the exciting season but season 3 is when I think Salford will be dangerous, Marwan needs to learn a little patience and I'm sure a genuine top 5 threat will equateto 8k+ crowds.'"
Indeedy. He does seem impatient for success - and has even said that knowing what he knows, we'll be favourites for the title in 2015 - but he's also said he's in it for the long haul. People tend to focus on the impatient part because it dovetails with their view that he'll be gone in a couple of years.
I don't think sales of 2500 season tickets is too bad, considering where we've come from.

You're very kind.
That first game is arguably going to be the most important of the season for us. We should (hopefully) have a big crowd there, and we really need the team to put in an entertaining, winning performance to make the newbies want to come back. If we get off to our usual forehead slappingly awful start, then it'll create that 'same old Salford' vibe. Having so many new names in the side is a bit of a worry on that score.

| Rangi is an entertainer, and Tim Smith is a class act. You have some "robust" forwards in Hock, Morley and Hansen. It's maybe your three-quarters where you look less strong, but the players in front of them are always interesting.
If Johnson is the guy who was at our place before he got in trouble with the law (came to us on loan from Hudds), he looked pretty promising.

Slugger, Greg Johnson is the same player that was at Wakefield. The one thing I've noticed is every time Nobby mentions Greg Johnson he gives him glowing reports and is excited to see how he goes.
Hopefully he'll put his past behind him and go well for us.

There are some lovely fractal definitions of pi - with all sorts of intertwinings with e. The domain space for fractals can be considered as any field where multiplication is invertible - which is not necessarily infinite as you assumed! More a group whose binary operation is multiplication (which is a whole topic of algebraic topology - for this precise purpose) - and so long as the denominator is great than 1 (which can be assumed from the additive nature of denominators - that is the further into them you get, the closer to the limit of the fractal, yet the numbers are getting larger) were not multiplying numbers greater than one, limiting the co domain to a finite space ...
The maths might have gone a bit far agreed

He was very good, but then he got in bother and so that was the end of him with us, but he was very promising.

| Atmosphere will bring people back. Even if you loose to wakey, if there's a loud and passionate atmosphere newbies want to buy into in.

He's a fascinating person for sure - However, he does seem to have the attitude of spoilt 7 year old , who wants everything NOW!!! ...
I'm just intrigued that he has been so successful in business with such a childish attitude - If he throws his toys out of the pram everytime something doesn't go exactly to plan, then I can imagine he has peed off many people over the years.... He must have made a few enemies with that business temperament....

| I hope the best for Salford and I think a top 5 finish is definitely in reach. According to the fixtures on the Rhinos website we play away at Salford on a Friday night? This automatically drops our away support by 1500 usually. I don't know the reasons for this but it should be moved to a Sunday if Salford want more away supporters to attend.

Your correct, our home fixture vs the rhinos is on a Friday. I believed that all the games against Yorkshire opposition were going to be on a sunday? To make it easier for away support from that part of the country to commute. Maybe this has changed???
