| They could do something like spend 50pounds in any Trafford Centre shop and get a coupon good for two free tickets, or just take your receipt to the Willows and use that to get in.
I'm sure they could get one of those cart things that go in the middle of the aisle that usually sell hairclips & jellybeans, I saw Sky TV with a stand there last time I was in signing people up.

i was in there last night, half the stock looked like it had come from a jumble sale with packets squashed and torn open, very tatty. Back to Swinton from now on.

| any one noticed all the shops that are disappearing from the traff , why? because they are putting there leases up, Whittards coffee/tea shop going to close this week because of the raise, they are moving to the lowry, so i dont think we could afford a shop there, but they could still plug us more on the screen as they are meant to be are biggset sponsors.

Whittards went bust earlier this year due to the really daft prices they charge, so I assume that the new owners Buisness plan is to downsize and maximise the increasing usage of the Lowry centre as more firms in the media relocate there. I prefer a packet of tea bags from Aldi, when its in the pot it all tastes the same anyway.

Whittards did go into administration and were then bought out by a private equity firm

The fact that they are moving out of TTC is an indication that they cannot afford the sky high overheads for operating there - it would be interesting to know how the legalities have worked out as my understanding is that most shops in there are offered an a 15 year lease

| Want to improve crowds next year:
Season tickets £100.
Half season tickets £50.
Annual membership scheme. £20 for the year and get £5 off match tickets.
£15 pay on the gate price. So anyone who buys a membership can get in for £10 per game with the £5 discount.
We need to get the 'casual' fans attending on a more regular basis.
Also, reduced prices would be seen as a good gesture from the club towards the fans after all the talk this season about how the club are not bothered about the supporters.
Sorry if I have nicked anyones ideas. Not read the full thread.

Great idea Karlos, the only trouble i can see is that the club need every penny it can get and lowering the season ticket prices which i think are a very good value, could be a non starter. i suppose Hudders took a gamble and it may have worked, but they also signed some good players which also drew the crowds but no disrepect to our signings, they havent set the world alight YET and as i think prestwich red has already said. until salford build a team that can compete for honours, we will struggle to attract more fans.

50% decrease in season tickets prices, 10% increase in season ticket sales.
Sounds a lot like a gamble that didn't pay offfor Shudds?!

| We aren't paying for the Stadium, which is why it is taking so long.
The original idea was for Peel to agree a deal to "allow" the use (i.e pay very little)
Lets face it we have to do something different as even the fans we do have aren't getting to the games.

| As we know we are in Superleague for the next two seasons at Least why don't the club do a two year deal on a season ticket, that way we would increase the revenue coming into the club, and prepare us for a move into the new stadium, which with the new fans would compensate for the loss of revenue in the second season.
