Any news on a potential new prop from somewhere?

This one is dead in water and not gonna happen. I can't see us signing anyone until top8/bottom4 is decided. Pack is holding up well, especially when you think we have young Foster and Arnalde to come back into the squad. Would be surpised if we add anyone at this stage of the season, it would suggest poor recruitment if were having a last minute panic unless a belter become available.

Pack is holding up well but our options off the bench showed up against Widnes as we were dominated second half. I would look to give Andrade and Haggarty a go first before looking elsewhere.

Can I move yet?

Agent got hold of club approx a month ago, telling club that Jack been told he's going to be reserve grade and would be interested in playing for Salford as long as he gets first team footy. He was given an contract extension end of last year however Tigers signed two lads props Ipswich Jets, Jack was 3rd in line. Since they one of those two lads has left for personal family reasons, which has put move of back burner for a while. I'd hazard a guess we'll see the move midseason. Also when agent got in touch we a club, the club was toying about one of our players for a loan to another SL clubs going yhrough an injury crisis.

Like I said watch this space.

Trust Sheens judgement, but not sure how I feel about us being second best. He wasn't prepared to up sticks and move half way across the world 6 months ago when we made him an offer...

That single section above should be enough of a reason not to sign him.
No one should be guaranteed first team football, they need to deserve it by hard work and commitment.

In fairness to him, it's along way to travel just to be sitting on the side... I would like if it looked at more like "signed by Salford as we are sure he is good enough to be guaranteed first-team football".

He's a big lad at 6'-4 and nearly 17 stone only 22/23 don't know how good he is, or if he has pace. Can he tackle ?

Signed for Widnes on a two year deal...

Surprised he didn't sign, maybe club couldn't offer the guaranteed 1st team rugby he wants. Like I said, his agent got back in touch with the club saying he available to sign, so agent must of touted him to other clubs too.

Interesting to see how he goes.

According to BBC he has signed for Widnes. He hopes to get early release & visa so he can play this season.
