Quote: red in buxton "Morning All,

Heard a bit of chatter from sale sharks fans ??? this weekend,

Edgeley Park is going to be sold, and the money invested in OUR stadium, adding 4 corners to the stadium and under soil heating,

Dont know how true this is, , It will be a good thing for OUR stadium, but i still dont want them any where near to be honest,

Because i think if they move in, we ill be out in 3 yrs , and salford council wont care as long as someone is paying the rent and they are making money.'"

you mean to tell me Peel & Salford have spent 26m developing this ground and it still hasn't got under soil heating icon_biggrin.gifOH: |FFS

Doubt that they would be allowed to without major rebuilding as if you look the corners are exists, think at the end of the game they will thrown them ope for the masses to stream out and naturally should they need them they would be the emergency entrance or exist.

If there is to be any further development ( which I doubt ) it will be to phase II propsals which is a second tier added to the east stand adding 3K , foundations we are led to believe are already in place , filling in corners are speculation probably fuelled by what's been planned at the Halliwell Jones.

we've not even got there to play a game yet and we've had sub 3,000 gates at the Willows , to add a bit of perspective ...

If the Stadium planners really wanted to attract a 2nd tenant playing a winter sport maybe they should have planned to include under soil heating icon_beat.gif

I find that very strange indeed, the LSV has a decent contract from Blackburn for their reserve games due to the guaranteed pitch availability.

Could have quite an effect on your ramp up events as well if the weather is dodgy in Jan.

Quote: ser "Can you believe the admission prices at last Sunday's game ?

Sale RU have fairly cheap admission .....£ 12 for their Gene Kelly stand is the lowest in their league.
Then add RU premier league TV $ Sponsorship Now you know why they can afford to pay big
London Irish ( Reading Madejski Stadium ) £35 Advance £40 Matchday Top to £20 Advance - £ 25 Matchday lowest .
Saracens ( Watford Vicarage Rd ) £65 Top to £20 Lowest
Wasps ( Adams park ) £ 56.50 - £21-50 Lowest Adult
Leicester (Welford Rd ) £ 47 - £ 17 lowest standing ( even juniors pay £47 in best seats ) .
Then imagine the hospitalilty prices they can levy ,

makes me think about the prices I'm paying 2012 for a more entertaining sport .
