My wife was in a meeting on Wednesday and was speaking to one of the big wigs from Sale,
They said that nothing has been agreed about a move to Barton but discussions have been going on too long for it not to be a preferred destination for our lovely union brothers and sisters.

I still cannot see why there is any concern about a rugby union club.
Wigan and their chairman have gone out of their way to embrace a rugby union relationship.
I am slightly curious as to the response from Sale supporters towards their CEO's.
There appears to be some animosity towards David Tarry from some Salford fans,yet he has never flitted between union and league clubs like Mick Hogan,not attempted to deceive the anti-doping agency as Rule did at Hull FC,and he isn't facing disciplinary like the incoming Sale CEO - rlLinkrl

I'm more concerned about the effects and practices of Sale and their Chairman rather than rugby union clubs in general, to be perfectly honest.

Neither of Salford or Sale have a say in the stadium as neither of you will own it, i doubt they'll be anything other than a Union club playing in someone else's stadium exactly like Salford.

Sale bought the ground off Stockport County because the football club were going bankrupt.
The two scenarios are totally different.

How so?? I rent a property and can't dictate anything to my landlord. Think there (fingers crossed that's the correct one) are way to many people way to paranoid about our potential future co tennants. All the council want to do is maximise potential income from thier (sorry they're/there/thier, nearly had a "firm" after me) property which makes perfect financial sense, we as an organisation should have insisted in an excluivity clause in the lease but we didn't so we have no say in the matter on who else shares the stadium.
