Given the amount of games he has missed this season, it would have been near impossible to repeat the consistencies of those seasons mentioned. That doesn't detract away from the fantastic individual performances we have seen from him this season.

If he's improved as a player, with the rest of the money you have spent, surely you'd be chasing silverware by now. He was incredible in his time at Cas.

You seem to forget the amount of dross that he has to play with though...

He is certainly a talent, that's for sure.
I always think it's hard to compare players playing for different clubs. When Rangi played with us Salford fans only saw him against their team and when we were in TV. Cas fans have seen the same of him during his time at Salford.

Cas fans should realise the difference between having one world-class player in a team against 17 very solid and committed players who execute their coaches game plan to perfection. That's why Cas have come closer to winning silverware without Rangi than they did with him.

Non of this matters really, his health should be paramount for everyone involved with RL regardless of the team they support.

Anyone know what is going on with the Rangi disciplinary situation as the club aren't saying anything at all?

Oh aye mate, there's hundreds of us in the know here. We were all going to keep quiet, but since you've asked...

According to the Daily Mirror, the disciplinary meeting has been postponed as he is unwell; a normal procedure in any meeting/tribunal/etc. He is on sick leave at the moment: how this is affected by/effects the suspension is answered by the HR policies within the club (and national legisilation).

In summary, and from what people on here have been posting, we need to back off and hope the help is available, the player gets support, and the matter of his missing training is considered appropriately. From the same Mirror story, it seems there have been comments on some media that have been obstructive or critical and upset a person who is going through a bad patch. Insensitive or ignorant perosns I cannot tell: but now we are aware of the matter, let's await developments supporting both the club and the individual as proper supporters.

I`m all for supporting a player who needs support etc, but when someone is on sick leave, does that mean he is banned from using the clubs facilities including training. We all know he is an exceptional player and just when you need him most in the next two vital games, the club are not calling on his services.
This appears to be more than just `him missing a training session` and the club need to keep the fans more informed.
I believe he wants to return, but the club are not letting him.
If we lose to Widnes and Hull KR and I believe we will and Wakefield win, then Iv`e no doubt we will be in million pound game due to an inferior points difference.
With all the previous goings on at the club, just maybe, some stability is required with our best performing players available.
I have also heard that HH to Leigh is a done deal....anyone with any updates on that score?
