Am I missing something over the mass hysteria over Greg Eden? He has obviously been signed as cover during a time when we have injuries to key personnel and whilst he has his problems with his defence, attack wise he is dangerous. He's young, British and no doubt eager to prove himself. Sensible signing for me.

You cant compare it to the Kevin Locke issue, as thats a totally seperate and on-going issue.

Who do you leave out of the 19 man squad? For me, it has to be Smith and Platt.

this loan move comes as no suprise, i think its a decent loan signing till everything is covered in new zealand bear in mind whoever it is they are signing wouldnt be able to fly straight over and play, it would take a bit to get a visa etc and then for the guy to make the move, eden will go well at salford the guy is under pressure to perform and he will do just that, theres a few strange sounds i have been hearing where there are going to be more than one big signing announced in the next few weeks one being KL and one being someone who hasnt been mentioned at all which will suprise everyone, there will be also more than 2 of the current squad leaving which is information i won;t divuldge !!!!

I think you'll find Darryl Powell is Yorkshire born and bred. FWIW i was very disappointed when Cas let Eden go as he was outstanding in the academy but he just hasn't kicked on. Terrible in defence and its his flashy looking loose carry that causes him to drop so much ball.

Wouldn't surprise me at all anyone who watches the NRL each week can see Slater hasn't been at his mecurial best to say the least.
