Actually, as reading these comments on Turkey/Twitter I was reminded of Groucho being told that he could not use a swimming pool as it was off-limits to Jews. He replied "My son is half-Jewish; can he wade in up to his knees?"

KOTS - For as long as I've know Paul he has been the epitome of a Salford fan for me, no agenda (despite being a mod on here) other than the betterment of Salford RLFC

Walshovski (people might think I've lost it with this one), I've had my spats with him on here but I never doubt he feels as passionately about the club as anyone and I get the feeling that he would bring a great deal to the position.

I know nothing about Salford faithful but I'd like to think if any of them offer the same amount as the people above that regardless of which alleged posse they belong too people on here would support them being chosen by the Doc.

+1 Great shout MR. Both these 2 should be on the board as they are passionate, knowledgeable and best of all, level-headed which is exactly what the doc needs. I dread to think.what might happen if some of our so-called "fans" manage to weedle their way in somehow.



Btw, I would like to state on record that I am not a personal friend, family member, lover, publicist of either of them before anyone has a pop! I just know that they'd do a fantastic job and I just hope they've thrown their respective hats in the ring.

The board needs to be a mix of fans, I'd include some that have only watched a short time as they offer something different, we need a variety of ages, and personal circumstances.

No point in filling it with people who all have a similar point of view. Need ones from the 3 stands as well.

One of my gripes with the Salford fan pages on twitter or individual's both on here and twitter, who claim to be "in the know" Even worse when they say "my sources" this is mainly about player movements.

FWIW My sources are telling me we are currently seeking a new addition to the squad due to the impending return to NZ. Club insiders say they want a "name". Moi Moi has been linked.
