I think it's extremely exciting. I'm a Wigan fan, but I went to Salford University and introduced my friends to rugby league by bringing them down to the Willows and showing how good our sport is compared to others.
The prospect of losing Salford for good didn't sit right with me. I applaud Dr Koulash's involvment and I hope that in the not to distant future Salford City Reds will in the top 4, consistently.

Interview was shown on Granada TV tonight where he stressed the importance of the club having a 'home' .Wouldn't enter into specifics but said the club would own not the Dr. if it went ahead.
The only worrying comment was " it's all or nothing " ie that without ownership or access to the income streams the site & stadium can deliver there will be no deal ...

| Can anyone confirm if Securitas are still going to be main shirt sponsors? Would hope if they are that new shirts are all but ready to go and at the very least the team roll out in them at the first game in a couple of weeks.
Was at an airport in Belgium the other week and the security staff were all wearing Securitas outfits so wonder if we can get all there staff into Salford shirts now that would be good publicity  |

Sounds like a very switched-on guy this Marwan Koulash, with the sense to hold out for what he wants ( and the club needs ) before signing on the dotted line. Good team he's brought in to assist, too, those kiwi blokes with good experience.
