As a Salford fan I have a lot of sympathy for Cas right now. We've been in the same position before on a number of occasions. The difference here is that Cas should get a sizeable amount of cash for the deal (If it happens) which will soften the blow to a degree. From my understanding the wages Cas save and the fee a player such as Chase would command would go no little way towards pulling them out of the whole they find themselves in. I'd be surprised if we haven't gone to Cas and said we want Chase, ehere's a list of the players we don't want to keep who are under contract do you want any? and then worked out the cash adjustment.
