As for parents not getting away with giving their kids a crack these days... I don't buy that. I know enough parents who can discipline their kids properly who've never got into trouble for it. If the kids are brought up right, they will have respect. The parents not giving a monkeys, for whatever reason, is a major part of the problem. Some of the community work I've seen through FC has brought some wild kids into line, because of the way they're controlled by coaches and other workers.
It's not just a simple answer of cracking a few heads. Society is crumbling in parts of the country and there's got to be a better way of dealing with it than turning the army out, giving the police carte blanche to do what they want and resorting to martial law or a police state. What the answer is, however, is another discussion altogether.'"

You can educate people upto the age of 81 but if the standard of eduaction isn't good enough it won't make a difference. Three decades of free market economics have created this underclass and the cycle of deprevation is becoming impossible to break due to the poor state of the education and welfare systems. Ian Duncan Smith is probably the best minister in government, knows his brief inside out but he is still struggling to break this cycle. |

I'm not normally a violent type but I really hope the kn0b drivelling the racist garbage gets one hell of a good kicking, maybe then he'll need the assistance of the police rather than being the root cause of the work they do.
These goons seem to see trouble as the solution to the problems they percieve they have so maybe giving them some of thier own medicine would make them think twice before they do it again. |

Don't forget it all kicked off in Tottenham initially because that lad got shot, even if that was rightly or wrongly. Increased violence from one side leads to increased violence from the other side - it's a vicious circle to get into. |
