I was thinking more along the lines of his extra curricular activities, which surprisingly didn't get him the sack from Wakefield.

For me, one memory of him stands out from a few years back when he pretty much tried to decapitate Ian Sibbit when tackling him and I've had a dislike of him since then.

I'd be over the moon with Randall, wouldn't anyone? I also think leo latu would be a very good signing he's a very dynamic and powerful runner with a great step only problem is I can't really see him being an 80 minute hooker, but if hes getting spelled then I'm all for it.

Whilst I agree that it's a shame, I also have to feel it's because they've not really measured up.

Ratchford and Adamson in particuarly have failed to kick on from last year and shine this season.

That said we still have a number of good, young forwards who may play a key part next year.

The difficulty with this policy for Salford is firstly attracting the best young players, and secondly blooding them in a good side with lots of quality and experience around them. If you are big top 4 club I'd imagine it's a much easier process.

If he can get around the ruck and do abit of dancing and can pass the ball quicker than mal then it sounds promising

Forber, Young, Webster, Hulme, all enforcers who whilst not being the most spectacular players in thier positions all did a good job ensuring the younger players were looked after.

Do think over the past couple of seasons we have missed that kind of on field presence, would have thought that Stapleton would have been a big more in your face in that sense but he never seemed to be for me. When we have the good younger forwards we do it is always easy for the opposition to boss them off the park with thier physicallity but you'd think this was less likely to happen with someone to get back in the oppositions faces.

Latu, an enforcer? I'd hardly describe him as that.

I do think that he would provide us with something we've been lacking but he's got baggage.

Holy mother of christ, would it He's a top player. His defense is solid, he scored tries and he's creative, if we land him, and I don't say this lightly, it could be the makings of a pretty bright few years for us.
