Love the way he's a mercenary for not accepting Salford deal... isn't that restricted employment etc? Here's a new deal... no sorry I want to move to another club... Oh how dare you- monay grabbing blah blah!
hate to say it but...
Wire - Salford
Better facilities
Better players around him
England coach
Similar / higher salary
Larger crowds
More likley to play in 'the big occasions'!
What do you want him to do? Salford signed him for free from struggling us and are getting circa 200k for him... I'd say it's them who have done best out of this all!'"
Put it this way, there are enough reports that he was there so as to be confident that he was. Plus there are plenty of other reports of the lad enjoying the hospitality of Simon Moran to also make this believable.
Has he done anything wrong?? Not in a literal sense but I think his conduct is questionable. Until his contract is terminated with Salford he remains their employee and I think that it is disrespectful to behave in this way.
As for the move.. it has been completely engineered by Offiah with Myler's backing and certain comments about a King's ransom are appalling for a player contracted for another 12 months. Things could have and should have been done more professionally and I don't for a minute think that everything that has gone on has not been sanctioned by Richie.
Mercenary is a bit of a strong word maybe but the lad has shown no loyalty whatsoever to the team and the staff that nurtured him and invested in him as a kid or the team that gave him his break. I'm not doubting Warrington's lure and believe that they are on the verge of good things but the manner in which this has been handled has discredited this sport a little for mine.
