I 100% disagree. I think when he gets a run of games behind him he's quality. I honestly think it's irrelevant how skilful a prop forward is, how many of the awesome foursome could throw a pass? Every team needs a player who acts as an 'enforcer' who opposition players think twice about before running at. Lets not forget either he's only 25/26 which is a baby for a prop. Isn't he now out longest serving aswell now?

I rate Jewitt. I can think of a lot more forwards I would rather see leave than him.

Absolutely I think Lee Jewitt has been a star in a very dull sky! With other quality forwards around him I'm sure we'll see him shine.

Sorry but the two Aussies so far have done nothing for me. If Mauro has an Italian passport then OK I can live with that but unless Foran improves 300% we need to see a new HB.

I agree about Jewitt, I think he's starting to fulfill his potential now. I wouldn't have McGoldrick, Foran or Mauro in there on what we've seen so far but they have time to improve. I'd certainly have Sneyd above Foran on current showing

Yeah I agree about Sneyd < Foran, going off what we've seen so far of Foran that is. Don't get me wrong i won't make my mind up until the end of the season and I'm sure Liam will turn out to be a quality player for us when he settles in and gets fit etc. I think we need to get Sneyd tied up on a longish deal to be honest, before Warrington come in for him

Yeah I reckon he could do a job anywhere from 1-7, but I'm still confident that he could become a very good SL halfback given a decent run in the team in that position. I'd hate to see him leave or be wasted In the reserves whilst we play an Aussie in his position just for the sake of it because they've come from the NRL. It's never done Leeds, saints or Wigan any harm having faith in a homegrown halfback.

I thought Sneyd played quite well at fb against Wire. Didn't seem to be out of position and had a half decent game I felt

If we go ahead and sign a top quality fullback it could be a decent option to play Sneyd at 13 as an extra halfback like Sinfield at Leeds. As MR says he's got the size and skill, this of course would be on the basis of the Theo and Foran partnership being successful!

I've been impressed with Sneyd. I don't understand how after he inspired our come back v Hull KR playing at 7 yet he hasn't been given a go their since?

He played there against London. To be fair he was the one player that night that looked a threat.

My apologies, I thought Foran took his place with McGoldrick at 6. Either way so far I've preferred him at 7.

We need:
Two more meathead props as well as signing Griffin on full time
A new wide running second rower who has the ability to break the line and get an offload away to his centre
A decent loose with good hands and a decent rugby brain who's also not afraid to tackle
A class hooker
Decent centre with good footwork and decent offload
A quality half back that can lead us around the field
Quality fullback.

Not asking for much then....
