Some people on here are quite clearly happy watching the dull,boring,percentage macrae style e week in week out that we have put up with for last 3 years nearly!!i'm far from a boooo boy!!we only won all silver wear 2 yearsago as we were a fulltime out fit with teams worn out in last third of games,we do have players with talent at the club who arent getting a chance or are falling further and further behind week after week with our clueless coach!!i was out in worsley talking to a few players last week,who couldnt agree more with the things i was saying to em!!FFS people on here wake up and look what your seeing in front of your eyes week after week!!!!we do have half a chance of competing instead of making the numbers up in super league!!BUT NOT UNDER MACRAE...rant over up .up thereds ,keep the faith,and SLUG and silver fox outtttt

And just what would that achieve?for the club,or the fans,or the players and what will the sponsors feel?

The coach(whatever you think he is still the coach)has in my opinion made some decisions that I don't agree with and some of the players have not played as well as they could/should have done but that doesn't give myself or anybody the right to embarrass the club in the way that you are suggesting that they do.

I may be classed as a "do-gooder" in some people's minds but I am aware of the finance that the chairman and other directors have put into the club and they deserve better than what you and some others are suggesting.

If you cant start a post by using a person's name then please don't start one.

I used to think that we had the best supporters in Rugby League, now I am not so sure and you Wardley Red are among the ones who appear to be working hard to give us the kind of publicity that we do not want.

What do you think having anti Mcrae banners will achieve? Do you think some unknown millionaire will be watching on tv and decide to give us the money we need. I think not it will achieve nothing and I repeat again for you and people like you so that you may finally get the message and use your energy on supporting the team you say you love WE CANT AFFORD TO PAY OFF McRAES CONTRACT!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody likes to see our Club perform badly but it's getting a little tiresome reading post after post of Armchair coaches who seem to know it all. Perhaps they should offer their services to the Club that they love and help out trying to get more revenue in which in turn will bring better players and staff.

If you really want to do something productive.

It's kinda sad to see supporters of other Clubs doing more for ours than the average Salford fan. The likes of Cheshire Tiger and SaintsFan who are drumming-up support in local schools and hopefully securing our future fanbase. Take a leaf out of their book and get off your cake-hole and try to help the Club instead of bringing it down.

Wardley Red - if you feel so strongly, get 2,000 Salford supporters each to put £50 in and there's £100,000 - I'm sure if we offered that politely to Mr Mcrae he'd consider it.

This thread has MASSIVELY cheered me up this morning, and I am now looking forward to tonight's match again.

I thoroughly expect us to be beaten comprehensively, and wouldn't be at all surprised if we play badly, but I've put up with that for the vast moajority of my Salford-supporting life.

What I can bear is the thought that 'fans' like Wardley Red are becoming a majority at the Willows, and this thread has reassured me that there are far more sensible, reasonable RL fans out there than there are illiterate nut-jobs.
