| I thought the ref got most decisions correct, lack of discipline by our players tonight.
If the crowd was 3100 next week it will be half again.
We were poor & did not offer anything different, very flat & we looked disinterested

| Poor game which wasn't even close. The mood in the Shed seems to be reflected on the pitch. It was a very lacklustre 'season's pretty much over' type performance.
Cashmere and Leuluai both stood out as our top performers.
You could tell it was going to be one of those nights when we lost the ball on the first set, although I thought it was a ball steal at the time. You're not going to be able to win games when you're knocking on from the base of a scrum and knocking on right in front of the opponents line as well.
Our attacking kicking near their line was shocking as well other than Myler producing a carbon copy of his kick to McGilvray from against Huddersfield a couple of weeks ago.
We seriously need to sort out the indiscipline though - it's costing us a lot of field position in games too often.
Really wish we had a player with a kicking game as good as Danny Brough's.

interesting comments from the slug as usual on gmr!
i.m.o the amount of pens we are giving away lately is a joke(the refs are not to blame 80% of the time),yet again there seems to be a lot of unrest in the dressing room, players body language/avin a go at each other on the pitch after mistakes etc is a big worry again, danny brough ran the show tonight with his kicking tonight...JUST LIKE STEPH DID AGAINST SAINTS!!!! far from our worst performance of the season<pls pls pls mr slug try a few new players next week wtf have we got to lose!!!
moan over
keep the faith
anyone know tonights 5 figure crowd?nice vocal following from wakey too'"

.'" , Pretty much my thoughts also.
Do the players draw straws for knocking on in the first set?
Losing possesion seems to be a natural talent for us , Teflon to sponsor us next season.

On attack-the funny thing is that if we had played 80 minutes instead of 78 mins we would probably got a draw why didn't we play in the first 70 minutes as we did in the last 10?
On defence- our defensive coach has a lot to work on and the tackling technique of some of our players leaves a lot to be desired.
On discipline- the penalties being conceded are becoming an embarrassment even allowing for some inept refereeing displays and tonight once again there was no consistency from the officials.
The distribution from our half backs/ hooker was poor with passes either being too high or on the ground and our ball receivers were having to lose momentum every time.

I know its not going to make the rest of the season great to watch, but build for the future

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book :Others/NA.JPG |

I actually thought we finished both halves as the stronger team.
Whilst we started very badly at the beginning of the game, I thought we were the better team for the last 10-15 minutes of the first half, and also think the half time score flattered them a little (mainly due to Korki's try right on the hooter).

| One thing that is glaringley obvious is the coaching is not up to scratch. Look at Korkidas, when we had him he used to drop the ball or give stupid penalties away. Tonight he was the best forward on the pitch. Don't remember him dropping the ball or giving pens away.

It's no coincidence that a lot of forwards in the league have had some of their best performances when playing against us simply because our tackling technique at times has been very poor. Korki was described by some Cas fans as being one of their worst signings in a long time. I'm not sure how he's gone since he's been back at Wakey though.

Salford have but SM decides to play him at centre
i can see why everyone is ed off at the fact stefan plays in the centres, and i would agree he is far better in stand off but...
with
fitzpatrick - many people was calling for wilshere at full back early season with mistakes fitz was making
henry - currently playing in the squad
wilshere - Full back, although people wanted him there earlier on now they dont
talau - out
white out
turner - Playing in squad
littler - off the bench?
ratchford - playing in the centre
McGilvray - playing in squad
Palfrey - not had a chance after leigh friendly but personally dont think he would be ready to be a first choice superlegue player
who would you play wings and centres out of them lot?
plus fullback because for me i would hav
wilshere
henry
turner
ratchford
mcgilvray
with litler being the sub to cover that back line
with this you also have the option to shuffle ratchford into the middle bring littler on and take smith off
