Thinking back to Leigh's Challenge Cup performance at Leeds last year I thought they were first class and really took the Rhino's by surprise. However, with Leigh's recent momentum I would fully expect Salford to have a different mindset in terms of preparation for this fixture. It should be a very interesting game and I'm thoroughly looking forward to it.

I hope it's a Saturday or Sunday, couldn't make any other day over that period the game has to be played.

Ground breaking idea but a traditional Sunday 3pm KO would be spiffing.

It's a massive potential banana skin, but hopefully we can get the win.

If we turn up at our best I think Leigh will cause Salford problems and maybe even win.

Salford will rightfully be heavy favourites though. A lot of Leigh fans are really confident but that's because we've only lost 2 games since September 2013! We have a winning mentality at the minute and it's easy to think we are invincible as we are winning in the Championship every week but the step up to SL is massive and I can't wait to see how we compete against a SL side.

Should be a cracking match and I hope Hock plays as it will add a bit more spice to the game.

Saturday 18 April then. KO to confirmed. Chelsea vs. Man United is on Sky at 5.30pm. So maybe either 4pm or 8pm? Unless they aren’t bothered about clashing.

Going to be a very tough test, not looking forward to the game tbh they're flying and wouldn't be out of place in Super League...the day out however should be belting providing it's on a Saturday or a Sunday.

Plenty of buses to Leigh from Salford/Manchester, going to be a cracking away day can't wait.

Would imagine it would be Friday night if Sky have got there claws on it or even worse on the Thursday!!! Saturday it best option personly, we shall wait and see.

I just cant wait to restore some sanity to the Leigh public. As said previous, we're a completely different proposition to these part-time clubs they've been sweeping aside lately. It will give them a good indication of the level they need to be at though to compete in Super League if/when they get there.

Well Sky pencilled in Saturday 18th before deciding who they would be choosing. Of course they could change it.

Oh and on the Gareth Hock thing, whilst I doubt the Doc could have any say on his contract with Leigh as he was a free agent, perhaps he was referring to the impending ban he is likely to receive for his homophobic comments on Twitter which are under investigation by the RFL?

From a personal point of view Saturday is perfect as it saves me booking a days holiday on Monday after an all dayer in Leigh
