The thing I would say regarding Locke. If there was ever a time to give him game time to see where he's at it's this game and I think he'll give Lannon another run out.

The problem with this is that it could destabilise a team that's doing okay and it's not respecting your opposition either.

I'd go with the same 17 as against Leeds but with Godwin starting at 9, Hood to the bench, G.Griffin on the bench too inplace of Gee and Lannon.

Locke will play, if fit. They won't leave him out its all about the money.

I just don't see Godwin starting.he has come from a season and half of part time training and rugby.
I see Hood playing the majority of the game,with Wayne Godwin playing maybe 20 minutes.

Just reckon he will play mate. Paying lots of money for him just to watch

Shows the depth we have when despite so many injuries we can still pick a 19 like that.

We can't drop Evalds nor though can we not play Locke if he is truly match fit.

For me it would be an ideal game to play Locke, playing against quality lower league opposition might be just the kick start he needs this season, if he doesn't get struck by lightening or catch dysentery of the local water he could really score a hat full.

Gutted Patterson isn't fit as I'd love too see him and Hock front each other.

Tasi and Moimoi should show up on the richter scale.

Moimoi isn't in our 19 man squad unfortunately, must still be injured.

Penky and Acton also missing who would normally be in our first choice 17.

I would put Locke or Evalds on the wing instead of Johnson. Would offer better coverage for bombs to the wing and both can shift. Johnson hasn't really pulled up trees for me so far, however he's not been bad. If be tempted to put locke on the wing and keep Niall at FB. Considering Locke is our marque player, he needs to play and justify he wage!

Disagree about Johnson, really rate him and think he's done well this season. He looks dangerous whenever he returns the ball and looks like he could break the line at any point. Its a shame he's playing outside Sa'u who as a winger must be a nightmare to play next to. Despite his many strengths, creating space and putting his winger in for a try isn't one of them.

I'd put out the same team that played against Leeds with Locke on the bench instead of Gee. I wouldnt expect Godwin's fitness to be good enough and with Locke on the bench, we could shuffle Niall / Theo / Liam as necessary.

I dont think Locke will play, the doc on twitter firstly stated that Evalds is the best fullback at the club and then today said he did not bid for Tomkins because we got Evalds. Therefore he is either its trying to wind him up to get him playing his best, or again telling him he is not wanted at the club.

Well if fit Locke has to play. Quality - Agree with JGR about Junior and Iestyn must get into his ribs to tell him that on his outside we have an outstanding finisher who needs supply. MCB to make way for Locke & Godwin must play 30 mins at least for us to see the best in Hood.
