I said when you signed him that he was great at Wakefield because he was happy and settled there which meant he played his best Rugby in years.

Although Smith didn't set the world on fire at Salford, I also think he was made a scapegoat when the team has been under performing in general. You could realistically say Chase has been garbage all year too. With a few exceptions. They both fall into the same pigeon hole. im gutted about smith as i was looking forward to seeing him this year and the first two games he was quality but since the home game against saints hes not done much which im gutted about but i wish him well.
