We were warned about Hock but we chose to believe,well certainly I did, that this move would be dead right for him.
Better players round him,big money,near to home,fresh start.

Without knowing the true reasons and what exactly goes on in another persons life, I'll personally reserve judgement for those in a better position. I thought he seemed pretty settled and barring the ref incident had been pretty good for us on the field with little or no negatives he has been hounded for throughout his career, surfacing. If the guys not happy, for whatever reason, he's done the right thing. We're in a position now, as a Club, that we can go out and bring in a quality replacement with cash being no issue. So, although disappointing, it's not the end of the world. The Club keeps on going and we keep on watching.

Fantastic player on his day both in attack and defence but people question his IQ and this is why he probably can't play to a complicated structure. FWIW, despite his bad reputation off the field none of the newspapers on this side of the hill have ever reported anything bad about him apart from the articles that have been in the RL press. If a behaviour clause was in the contract or a pay as you play deal could be struck I'd welcome him at Cas. A very destructive runner.

The cynic in me keeps thinking he ran into the official on purpose ,knowing he'd get a long ban.

Yeah ,I always thought it a bit of a strange incident, the way he kept his head down and kept running.He had loads of time to avoid the ref.

Occurred to me that we have Haurki signed on for next year and with his problems keeping his nose clean maybe him and Hock in tandem might have been a recipe for disaster.
