Quote Swinton_Red="Swinton_Red"Firstly thank you for your concern and I appreciate you being helpful. However being a 50/50 football and rugby fan, I'd say along with majority of football fans, we tend not to care about prices and beer, we just deal with and accept what will be will be. Something I can't understand watching football far and wide, you want to watch, you have to pay the price. Yet when it comes to watching rugby the majority of fans are very negative at the 1st opportunity. If fans put more effort into moaning about thinks and being proactive supporting the club then life would be alot happier. For some reason ruby fans think they are fair superior than football fans, I'd suggest they spent following Utd/City/Bolton, then they'd realize how much it cost supporting your club! Rant over but we shall be in Mary D's buying "overpriced and disgusting" beer but hey? lets not let it spoil having fun you bunch of mard
.
PS. Bring on the Salford.'"
Bit of a strange post. Sh*t beer is sh*t beer and overpriced beer is overprived beer, pointing that out hardly makes anyone mard. Does the willingness to pay the given price for whatever's available, regardless of cost or quality, make you better than someone who doesn't? The thought intrigues me.
Quote Swinton_Red="Bigpev"I have been told by a resident that the pubs around the ground put at least 50p on the price of a drink on matchdays.'"
So do the pubs round Old Trafford.
Quote Swinton_Red="SCR-SeaDiver"To assist with my sartorial elegance for the day,if anyone knows whether we will be playing in red or green could they put the details on this thread, please?'"
If you have to wear a replica shirt to the match, why do you need to base which one you wear on what the team will be wearing? Does that have a direct influence on how great your support for the team is? Personally I've found that vocal encouragement has a greater impact than the clothes I'm wearing.
