Can't agree with your analysis of Salford though. Completely dire yet again. I fear we're going to start heading into a bad tail spin from here.

We looked a very poorly coached team, which is no great surprise I suppose. But it did emphasise that the Board desperately need to make a decision and act decisively.
Tries from dummy half, tries from simple one pass to prop runs, tries from centre & wing moving out 3 yds whilst the 2nd row inside went 1 yd and got caught. All things that a decent coach should be able to put right.
I don`t know where we stand legally with McRae can we bring someone in with him still technically head coach, or should we be sitting down with him to buy his last few months off to clear the decks to try to bring someone in ? Assuming we can get who we want mid season !
The team at the end and before that looked as dispirited a team as i have seen for some considerable time and I fear for the rest of the season.
What is certain is that with a lot of the season to go the dream is (or has) turned into a nightmare and needs action now. The importance of this season from a Franchise to the move to Barton cannot be overstated.

Are the people in power at Salford determined to ruin the club ?
It is Blatantly obvious the players need a coach with ideas and imagination to take them forward.
You can not tell me that the players we have are cr&p most would walk into another SL team.
At present we are one trick ponies where Patten and Holdsworth do the link up play, this was sussed out very early.
We have our best kicker in the centres and a SH who took Saints to the Grand Final so he cant be that bad, looking frightened to death when he gets the ball.
With the money saved from Baileys retirement why cant they pay of McRae and get a proper coach in ?
At this rate Crusaders and Wakefield will overtake us, now how embarassing would that be.

Maybe Salfords problems don't mean as much to you as others, or maybe you think like Salford that fifty per match is the acceptable norm ?

Technically they already have if you factor in the points deduction for both Crusaders and Wakefield.!!

Eh? I know the RFL bum everything that the Crusaders do but 3 wins only give them 6 points, whereas 4 wins give us 8 points, whatever deductions have been made.

Well I was there and we were -poor. Some of our defending and positional play was terrible. Leading up to some of the softest, easiest tries you will score all season.

They wont though, don't fear. I'm quite resigned to watching them whip each other into a spiteful frenzy after each (supposedly expected) defeat on here.
I took two mates to the Warrington game and they were transfixed with a chap at the bottom of the shed who spent every minute of his time at the game telling people to "f*ck off". Refs, players, coaches, trainers, water carriers, opposition fans - from pre-match up to the players exit. He was quite a sight.

Perhaps he simply cares more than me, or maybe some people just get a twisted kick out of spouting hate?
