| Quote: "he's managed 5 tries, 48 goals & 2 drop goals this season in the 20's add to that 2 tries and 9 goals in the game against Whitehaven in the first team this season, he's got to be given his shot now[/size.'" ]
Not that impressive! better off going for Ryan Brierley whos playing at Leigh on Dual Reg from Castleford, he can play fullback wing and 6 & 7 (mainly a goal kicking half back!
[size12 tries in eight games[/size, really setting Champioship alight, pretty sure hes out of contract at the end of the season. He is also a Salford Fan

Holdsworth will not be here for ever.

| I'd rather keep Gleeson than Smith. I really like Gleeson creates opportunities for his winger and scores plenty himself. I'd be upset to see him go, but lets face it we can't compete with the wages other clubs have to offer so we have to face up to losing some of our better players.

Agree with this about gleeson, next season we will have a squad that Phil had put together, so no excuses. I don't know about most on here but I'm fed up with being in a "transitional" stage we have been since I started watching the reds no continuity if we can keep the majority of this years team with the odd new signing it will put us in good stead for the next couple of seasons
We need a new FB, PR & SR then I think we can make the 8, a player I'd like us to look at is Andrew Dixon from saints, Mark O'Mealy has already been mentioned from FC & if Towers is up for the job next year I'd be happy next year (Although heard a little rumour that Paul Wellens is being lined up for next season??) as long as them two replace Feka & Anderson
And as somebody else mentioned id rather keep smith than holdsworth

| What my concern is is that the better players don`t seem to want to commit to Salford, the only one`s who do are the one`s nobody else wants.

Ken Gill could make the ball talk.: |
|
| Kevin Brown has just signed for Widnes for next season. Can they afford Smith as well? Will they still want him?

| Wellens?
Would like to see us keep Gleeson. Very under-rated centre in my opinion. Great game yesterday.

| Agree with the ball in hand Gleeson looks a threat, i just hope he works on his Defence which is pretty shaky.
Happy to keep Smith but not at any price, we have Sneyd who can step up, and with out limited budget there are other areas of the team that could do with strengthening.

Obviously missed the first 15 minutes when they walked through him and George bombed another try. Has an okay off-load and decent footwork but is a turnstile in defense. If we could get Goulding back from Wigan, I'd take, Jodie, Moon, Goulding, Williams as our centre wing partnerships.
Forgot to add, anyone who didn't attend and watched in on Sky, why was they checking the Gleeson try for what seemed like 5 minutes.

Obstruction - there was a runner (Nero I think) who ran in front of Patten before he passed to Gleeson.
Agree with the comments about Gleeson - whilst he shows a bit of flare in attack, his defense is woeful. Wouldn't be too fussed if he left. In fact, I could say that about most of the members of the squad with the exception of Broughton, Moon and maybe Holdsworth.

| In fairness to Smith after I slated him vs Bradford, thought he had a good game yesterday. As others have said about Gleeson, he is great in attack but woeful in defence.

The obstruction was cleared after 30 seconds they then went to the grounding and used every camera angle in the stadium to try and disallow it, Sky even got pictures from the space station
