| Seen this in the league express I personally think it'd be a good signing, bit of experience to lead the young lads in the pack now we've lost Moz and Griffin.
Yeh not one of the other 3 brothers but been plying his trade in the NRL now a for a few seasons so should go pretty well in SL.

I think the same. Would be a decent signing.
Plus, might be a bit of incentive to drag one of his younger Brothers back over here in the future.

When the less talented older Brother has 80 SL / 70 NRL games & both a SL & NRL Grand final medal. then our gauge of dour must have risen somewhat .
still 28 which is barely mature for a front row forward in his prime .
Still a long shot for me , still has a year of his Manly contract & family in Sydney which as we've seen with his young sibling has a strong pull .

| Burgess would be a belting (if unlikely) signing, big prop who plays big minutes.
Can't see him coming back to the UK with his entire family reunited in Sydney again.

| Well looks like Ferres won't be coming here, and is off to The Roosters with Macbanana. Can't blame him really.

I don’t know. There is a fair amount of stodge that racked up many appearances and medals. Great team players, good sense of humour etc.

| The NRL mole has tweeted we're searching for a prop. Now he's ruled out Luke Burgess, so who could it be, with the mole knowing this information leads me to believe its a NRL based prop. ? Is there any decent ones available.

With having no quota spots left, I'm presuming we're looking at an English based NRL prop? Or we may release someone who's currently here for an Aussie.
Certainly interesting to see who's name crops-up.

Or maybe a prop who has British parents like Cuthbertson. How does that ruling work regarding the quota ?
Leeds have Moon, Falloon, Achurch, Delaney, Garbutt and Cuthbertson =6

| Chris Heighington is the only NRL based prop with English heritage I can think of, still think he'd count on the quota even though he's played for Blighty.

| Heighington has just signed another 12 month contract with Cronulla can't see it being him.
Leeds have 7 so the parent factor must be quota free Moon,Falloon, Achurch, Garbutt, Galloway, Delaney, and Cuthbertson

| Doesn't matter about where you were born anymore, it matters about non-federation trained. So you can be British by birth but if you weren't registered with the RL in a youth set-up you will be non-fed trained. There was quota and non-fed rulings but I think they've scrapped one of them this season coming. I'm sure Magic Superbeetle will be along to clear things up. He's usually on the ball with current rulings.

| Extremely unlikely I know but could it be Tom or George Burgess to make way for brother Sam under the Souths salary cap?
