You pay your money, your entitled to an opinion mate.

We've been handing out free or cheap tickets for many years. Until we get a strategy it's all a waste of time. We may get the occasional inflated crowd but the tangible long term returns have been very small.

Whatever happened to the junior Red Devils revival? I could understand us offering loads of free tickets similar to the games in 2008 (was one Oldham) and handing out junior memberships with loads of incentives and offers.

My hope for the Catalans game is that Marwan makes a big half time announcement ie signing Sam Burgess and season ticket info for 2016. We do live in hope, the reality is probably very different.

Fair play.

The club should evaluate their marketing by collating details of everyone who attends the game. Then in 12 months use their database to assess how many have since bought tickets for matches.

There is also a very good bit of promo at the Cats game, any junior buying a shirt before the 16th gets a coaching session before the game, a certificate and they get to parade round the pitch at half time.

I've bought two junior packs on the back of this and my partners kids are already very excited to not only attend their first game but also meet players and get the chance too run around at half time.

I just hope the club uses a bit of savvy and has details of any summer camps ready for the Cats game and the option to sign up on the day.

Just having teams of people circulating through the fans taking details......

And evaluating whether any of the new fans return and buy tickets for future games? It will be interesting to see how many fans who take advantage of the freebies return in the next twelve months.
