| Quote: Michigan red "Don't worry flower I have no intentions of changing jobs. I mean if I didn't do what I do I know of at least two of your away days last season where you wouldn't have had a beer at away grounds.
I notice you ignored the salient point that there are better locations in Swinton, though it's a trait you share with others on here.
I think the original idea near the prison would be ideal and the community aspect could maybe include educational facilities that could be utilised by the correctional staff and inmates. Maybe there is an option for government grants if this is posdoble.'"
I ignored it because it's nonsense as pointed out by JGR. You've suggested scrapping the Ambrose Barlow idea to go back to Agecroft which as JGR has pointed out is now a non-starter. You've also now pulled from total thin air a 'community aspect' to the Agecroft project that 'could include educational facilities that could be used by the inmates.' You've also managed to unearth some previously unknown government grants to fund the project.
This all seems like a fairly watertight, well researched and fully funded plan, certainly better than the back of a fag packet scheme that clueless joker Koukash has probably put together. And should your scheme fail for some unforeseen reason then don't panic there is always some spare land near the Henry Bods.
Dearie me.

You really must read posts better, I suggested that if education facilities could be added to any project then surely grants would be available, I don't profess to know if this is the case or not but it would stand too reason that building something of that nature would be in line for a grant as educational facilities would benefit the community as a whole rather than just the rugby team who played there..
I would suggest you ignore things more because your ignorant and because I don't blindly agree with everything you say (the annoying things most of what you say has more than a little merit too it). This is a public forum and because I chose on this occasion to not follow the party line you don't like it, well that's democracy for you like it or lump it.
Again you in your increasingly more common way ignore a point in that surely Swinton would be best served playing at Barton, it's a ready made facility and don't forget that if the Doc does go ahead with his plan to buy Swinton if would surely benefit them to be able to use the facilities he has just invested in at the stadium. I'm pretty sure the Swinton would also benefit from shared coaching as from what I see Salford train during the day and Swinton being part time tend to train in the evenings.

So just to make sure I've read your post properly you think Swinton would be better moving to Agecroft because of the availability of grants, although you [i'don't profess to know' [/iif these grants exist at all? Just want to make sure we're on the same page there.

I think you mean [i'you're ignorant[/i.'
The classic fall back of someone who knows his argument holds no water - start quoting 'democracy' and 'freedom of speech'. A policy adopted by OFFTHECUFF earlier today. I have no problem with anyone saying anything but if they post on a public forum then people have the right to tell them they are talking crap, which in this instance you are.

I'm not ignoring anything. It's just that most of your posts contain so many wild ideas you have pulled from thin air it's difficult to find the time to respond to them all. Swinton want to play in M27, and not at Barton, and rightly so. As was posted by someone the other day Sale supposedly have a restriction on the amount of days the pitch can be used throughout the year which means Swinton cannot play at Barton. Are you honestly saying, long term it is better for Swinton RLFC to be based out of Barton as opposed to their own ground in Swinton? There are also logistical problems to having a semi-pro/pro team playing back to back games. On coaching, we are still two separate clubs, this is not a merger, so I'm not sure where this shared coaching would come in. Nobby working 15 hour days perhaps? Just a selection of reasons why Swinton should not play at Barton in case you thought I was ignoring you.

Well to take someone to task who's dyslexic over an issue such as that shows the type of person you.
Not worth my time, beneath me and most certainly an idiot.
All spelt well enough for you? the correct grammar?

| MR you've embarrassed yourself enough on this topic already, don't start using the dyslexic card.
The facts are you're letting a bitter internet message board feud between yourself and ONE Swinton fan as an argument not to support a facility/development that could benefit thousands of people for many years to become.
As for the Ambrose Barlow classrooms being used, the proposed development as I am aware is intended for the playing fields.

I've readily admitted that, said this would be the outcome at the time and I stick by it.
It is my choice to either support it or not and I chose not too.

| Here's an update provided by a Swinton fan from Koukash's interview on GMR last night.
Quote: no "Dr Koukash confirmed his interest in taking on Swinton Lions, but added it was far from a 'done deal' that he would do so.
He was asked whether his objective was to merge Salford and Swinton, or to have Swinton play at Barton and gave an emphatic "no" to both. When asked where Swinton Lions will play next year if he takes over the answer was Leigh. His vision is two seperate clubs, but he added that Swinton's "relationship" with Warrington would likely be replaced by a "relationship" with Salford although none of the details had been worked out.
Today he has issued a tweet saying that he's made his interest in Swinton clear, but it is 'up to the Council to provide them with a home first'. An indication that he means business in my view, and that he has very quickly and astutely identified both; the key factor in rebuilding the club, and; the key entity in giving him what he needs to make it happen.'"

Hardly fair to use that argument when you've regularly critiqued other poster's grammar and font use in the past.
