So if he doent come back we all know why and we wont listen to any "matt was homesick / matt was lied to and took the job under false pretence" the truth will be he was shot down over france...

Think if what I've read is true he arrives Thursday this week, can anyone say if all the Aussies/Kiwis are back for pre season training yet too?, can maybe see if Moon isn't with his injury but hope every other member of the squad is back already.

I'm aware via Twitter that Patten is back and I think Holdsworth may be back, McPherson arrives early December and Moon arrives around the 20th but I'm not certain which month?

Saw most of them this a.m. along with the guys who have moved up from 18/20's so we are up & running with pre-season

Holdsworth has lost his phone (again) according to his last tweet so presumably he can't tweet if he is here or not.

Why is McPherson back so late? Thought Parish made a bit of a hoo har about players coming back so late, Moon because of his injury you can understand.

Just read in an article about Long going to Preston Grasshoppers that we have a new conditioner, does that we do have a new one of is Long doing that?.

Was surprised your not back in training yet after all effectively your season was over last may so i would have thought the powers that be would have had them in earlier.

For once Marshy1 has got a point, the doom and gloom mongering is pretty bad on this board.

Nobody was going to turn our team into top eight contenders after the awful job McRae and HIS team did in pre-season last year. How that chump has the nerve to show his face on TV as an 'expert' is beyond is me.

Going off the noises Parrish made on taking over as head coach, I'm expecting a much fitter and stronger Salford team next season. Without getting Feka off the books, the next best thing is getting him back to his destructive best. It is possible, provided he's conditioned properly. Then it's just a case of speeding up our play the ball, and if they get on the front foot, the talent is definitely present in the backline next season.

Moon could really be the key to creating more tries for Broughton. He might not possess the flair of Ratchford, but I'm expecting him to be a damn sight better defensively and a more orthodox creative centre. If he doesn't end up playing in the backrow.
