The other week, when Wire were losing, some opposition fans chanted "[iOh y y, y y y y Warrington[/i" at them
Later in the game Wire went in front and their fans replied with "[iWe're not y, we're not y, we're not y any more[/i".
Made me chuckle!
Hoping to use it in the same way at Wanderers at some point?!

Wire are more than happy to welcome as many glory hunters as want to pay to get in. As will Salford, if you ever have some glory to hunt.
On the other hand, we could make it compulsory to have attended every game over the last twenty years before you're granted admission in 2011. That's real loyalty to your fans, that is. |

Think diavolo was just highlighting the change in support & attitude of Wire fans especially since your two cup wins and that you weren't so well away supported in the ' barren years ' , 19 of them if you include a regal trophy win 35 of them if you don't.
TBH it's not that hard to get a dig in on us considering our chequered past 
looking forward to the game . let hope it's a good game and that people are humble in victory and gracious in defeat .. |
