Quote: Prestwich Red "I can not for the life see why Anderson was rushed into the team.
OK he scored a try on Sunday but FFS even I could have scored that.
Is it because he is on big money and we have to justify that.
There are a few in the team the so called big signings that should be ashamed of the performances they have put in.'"
Now I agree, Anderson shouldn't have been rushed back into the side and, probably, isn't match fit, but he showed some great athleticism and pace to score that try. Which indicates, when he's match fit we have a great player on our hands. Like somebody else said, maybe the best way to get him match fit is to get him in the team and playing games.
Of the so called big signings, do you think Wild hasn't performed, maybe Nero, or what about Patten. To me those three have given really good service so far. Granted, what the F&@k has happened to Feka, but Wild certainly runs his blood to water for the team and is definite improvement on Swain in attack. I suppose you could argue we have. roughly, at 50/50 success rate, Wild/Nero/Patten v Feka/Bailey/Anderson. Anderson and Gleeson, although I wouldn't class him as a big signing, could still prove to be successful.
I'm not sure how to improve the quality of personnel within the side. There must be real trouble going on behind the scenes, it doesn't seem to matter what the club does, changes manager, changes players, the result is always the same. We the fans get let down. Maybe it's our fault, for not getting behind the team when times are tough.
