This is the best shirt the club have had in years. Personally I never wear modern rugby jersey's because I just hate the feel of the uncomfortable fabric they use. I believe this one is cotton like the old style jerseys of the past so I'll definately be getting one. If this jersey is a huge success what are the chances a commemotative away shirt as well?

The shirt given free with the original early bird deal is no longer this season's home shirt? Isn't that false advertising?

I can see where you are coming from but it did show photo's of the shirts in the season ticket brochure. I also understand the choice of free shirts with the early bird are still the clubs official first team jerseys for 2011 and the team will wear the red one for matches not at the Willows.(Colour clash permitting) It just happens that due to it being the last ever year at the Willows they have chosen to play in the Commemorative shirt at the Willows.
The term 'Home shirt' and 'Away shirt' that all clubs use in many sports is actually wrong and misleading because it's actually First Shirt and Change Shirt.
I just put this down to exceptional circumstances with the bonus for many of getting a free shirt and not having to buy both new first and change shirts for next year.

does this mean that we have two away shirts and one home shirt for next season

I have a colour copy which will be hung back on the stairwall as soon as the missus finishes the decorating.

Bloody hell: that was a HUGE squad back then. You can't even see the faces at the very back of the photo.

Order it, well looking forward to the season starting, might go to the friendly at leigh, thats if the snow lets us, if not then i'll wait for the wigan friendly at home.

I heard the new commemorative jersey will be worn with the option of either red or white shorts and red & white hooped socks. The kit with the white shorts will be similar the Wembley 1969 kit but with the white double 'V' . . and the red shorts option will be the same style design as the Australian kit.

according to the shop theres been a set back with the shirts and they wont be getting them until monday
