What a difference from last week.Fitzy had a great game,every time a bomb went up we all held our breath, but the lad did good.Smith showed signs of what he can do, that long pass to Mcgilvary nearly produced a great try.A bit of confidence is all that is needed,maybe that win will give it to us. First time at the KC stadium,hope ours is as good .hull fans all gracious in defeat,all saying best team won on the day.

Like every other Salford fan there, I thought the performance was outstanding. What struck me was that you could almost feel the self- belief flooding through the team as the match progressed. From a team that started the game with no confidence at all, we ended it with a never-say-die spirit that resulted in a 78th minute try and two minutes of outstanding defence as all of us watched with our hearts in our mouths. We thoroughly deserved the win. All seventeen were outstanding for me. All played for each other. We played a more expansive game and apart from a couple of lapses when Hull moved the ball wide , our defence was first rate. We also made two excellent breaks that should have resulted in tries. More of the same please!

I don't know how many people listened to Radio Humberside in the car on the way home, but I have never heard so much bias from radio presenters on a programme. They didn't really recognise any of Salford's qualities, except for the odd reference to us deserving the game, but spent most of what we heard suggesting that the pass for the last try was forward!!!! Could this be the same Hull team that was awarded a Video Ref try at the Willows two years ago after the ref had clearly shouted held and blown his whistle??

It was so good to be there and enjoy the celebrations at the end of the game. I've never enjoyed Hull so much.

Full marks too to the many Hull fans as we were leaving who wished us well and congratulated us on our team's performance.

With all the Hull fans posting here being very sporting in defeat we really don't need bitter HKR fans coming on just to insult their rivals. Keep your petty spite to your own board.

What a performance by the boys. All 17 did us proud. As said before,there wasnt many of us but we sang like there were ten thousands of us. Big raps to all the fellow reds that attended and the hull fans who congratulated us outside the ground. you were were a credit to your club. people complained last week that the players didnt come and ackowledge them. i thought at one point there were going to come in the stands with us.once again thanks to the boys, i know its only one win but with determination like that we will go places.

I can't beleave the result and credit must go to the die hard salford fans that made that horrible journey to dull i was listening on the radio and all you could hear was the salford fans if there was only 100 there they sure made some noise

was it two dodgy decisions warded by teh vidoe ref, the first under the sticks where the ref had called held and then play continued and the ball put down, but the vidoe ref did not have sound then so never heard what was said and awarded the try.

Yep it was the two - we were seriously screwed by the video ref that day.

As for the person who mentioned the comments on the radio after the game, as always, it provided a number of laughs. I often listen to games on the radio on a Sunday when we're not playing and Radio Humberside has always been hilariously biased - certainly provides entertainment anyway.

Can't add anything to what's been said already, but about the forward pass... One of Hull's tries in the first half (can't remember which one, it's all merged into a bit of a blur!) had what looked like two forward passes in the build up, so it's seemingly evened itself out on that front.

What a day. From the rugby to the looks of confusion on the locals faces in The Eagle at the celebrations surrounding United's winner. It's only now starting to sink in.
