I hope he is feeling a little better than Mr Thewlis,over at Huddersfield,will be feeling tonight,after Mason won his case and the salary of a number of other players were made public.

And Sale Sharks have updated their facebook page 35 times since Salford last updated theirs, and it's Sale's off season.

But remember, there's nothing poor about it, we're just a club being run on a shoe-string.

Yep. Shocking stuff. The Club has missed a trick with its online presence for years. Great outlay for little input and they still don't bother.

The clubs social media is a joke and is beyond pathetic. The club shouldnt need reminding about how important the use of the official site, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc all are.

I think there will be more than just me more concerned with the new CEO involving himself with recruitment rather than ensure the Facebook page is full of information.
There is to be a new official website and the whole club is seemingly being redesigned.

As a side note - over at Bradford - it appears since Robbie Hunter Paul took over,there have been a number of redundancies - there is a current thread running on their forum - sexism and all sorts;be warned !

The new CEO has said himself that he will leave the player recruitment (if that’s the sort recruitment you were referring to? ) to the experts as he has no knowledge of Rugby League. He has come in to build the business side of the club up and improve things such as the website and the way the club interacts with its fans/customers, which given time I'm sure he will. The CEO is quite rightly staying out of player recruitment, the only recruitment he should be involved in is on the admin side of things, as this side of the club is just as bad if not worse than the playing side!

Let my Mrs run it for them she lets the world know our every movement, and I mean every movement.

I understand Mr Matthews won't be selecting the players to sign but I just meant in dealing with the paperwork and lodging it with the RFL.( The admin side as you so rightly have stated )
He did say on Radio Manchester last week that a number of players were keen to sign and it seems the owner and head coach are spending many hours pursuing the players so I hope someone ensures the paperwork is finalised correctly.
I agree fully that the club business/admin side is a huge embarrassment and annoying in the extreme;[size=50even to someone as cool and controlled as myself [/size

Nobody is expecting the CEO to update Facebook and Twitter himself, but he is expected to employ somebody who is qualified to do so and knows what they are doing. I’d love to know who the marketing executive is for Salford City Reds, anyone?
