Losing Sheen's was a massive mistake, from day one should of been Sheens head coach with Watson his assistant. I hope Lui doesn't go Leeds we need to be keeping hold of our players and adding to the squad, Lui 100% is a class act.,

Very true but when you lose that level of know-how and experiance it's going to impact negatively somewhere down the line. Sheen's was also a player magnet who didn't suffer fools and it will be interesting to see the caliber and value of the signings we make without him. The club now lacks administrative rugby experience and this is now a weak area in my view that needs addressing. I'm not referring to or criticising our young coaching setup, it's a respectable figurehead with a link between the owner/club side and the coaching/playing staff that we need. As an example look at the newly formed team Toronto Wolfpack. They have appointed Rowley as head coach and an old head in Noble as a middle man. If Marwan Koukash thinks he can cut corners I think he's kidding himself.

My guess is he was one of a several of our players you were targeting had we lost the MPG. I'm sure the former Salford lads at your club have passed on how much talent he has and the future potential in him. Koukash made a comment on twitter last week saying he isn't going anywhere. Considering the criticism Koukash has faced by not retaining our best academy products over the past 3 years I think he will do everything to ensure he stays, hence the Maserati car.

Luke Burgess signed for Catalan on a two year contract. Added some size to our pack in the 8's but I can't say I'm overly disappointed with this news. I think I'd prefer Tasi who is 7 years younger and has something to prove after a very disappointing year at Saints. Let's hope Morley and Carvell"s experiance can help him reach the potential St Helens saw in him. I think Lama made a lot friends at Salford and that should help him.
