When you spend the money we have on the Likes of BJB -Locke Dobson etc,you have to shop smart for the other squad players .dispite these high profile players Salford have an eye for SL players who dropped down a division but still fairly young with potential -Johnson - Walton -Josh Griffin- Liam Hood fits that bill I guess.

Perhaps we could solve the salary cap situation by playing Rangi chase at hooker which would give him more freedom to work his magic while Dobson leads the pack. Rangi was a no9 before Brown changed his position. Locke at fullback and Evalds at halfback with Dobson and Fages the interchange hooker.

Just because they want him, doesn't mean he will join. It probably puts them up there with us in terms of matching an offer (didn't realise they received £100k for Hodgson) but I imagine Salford would be a more exciting proposition with all the potential.

Id be more then happy with Fages at 9, this day and age you should be able to play 6, 7 & 9! Not seen much of Hood but i hear he was a good prospect at Leeds

Not sure about Lee i'd still see him as number 1 hooker with Fages as interchange that's with the current squad we have at the minute, that's even if Hood signs.
