What it needs is for somebody who is unhappy the way it is going to make a stand get some new banner designs raise some cash go to the stadium people and say look we are making these banners/ ideas to improve our game day experience where can we put them get the measurements and start the process all over again carrying them round the country like I did for a good 10 years life gets in the way these days for me but it doesnt stop the next generation picking up the baton with new banners / ideas

The "top reds" should be consulted by management on suitable fan attire.

Personally, I would never wear a jester hat, half and half scarf or bang a drum at a match. Similarly, I would never wear a pair of Rockport's or a Stone Island jumper. That doesn't mean I would have a go at anybody doing so.

This isn't new, if I recall correctly a few years back we used to have a group who wore either red curly wigs and on other occasions pink cowboy hats. They were regularly picked up by the TV cameras. Have not seen them for a couple of years though (along with countless others who never dressed up). So I guess that either way fans come and fans go. If we are successful and attract more fans, this topic could run and run. Not bothered who does what, as long as we get fans in the ground, hopefully with some basic understanding of RL and our heritage, but that may be a wish too far.

For a minute I though I was the only one in defence of Jester hats but I'm glad to see others think the same.

I actually like to think I get along with most of our fans, I speak to anyone and have a drink with anyone and I don't think I'm better than anyone. I just don't want us to follow the path of other fans such as Warrington, who I look at I think oh dear!! Grown man in silly hats and face paint at sporting events are just damn right embarrassing, but judging by this thread that’s the way we're going so hey ho, I'll bring the foam fingers on Sunday and we can all clap along to 'we will rock you'.

Ermmmm, I hardly ever stood in the Shed. I spent most of my Willows days standing at the club end. I spent 1 season in the Shed!!

You'd think that rather being concerned about what supporters should wear you'd be glad you even have supporters who are coming down. You should be glad of any fans regardless of what they wish to wear. Get a grip.

I'd rather have 100 normal fans than 500, or even more, attention seeking, wacky and wild fans who seem more interested in being noticed and abusing the opposition than supporting the team.

As long as they pay £22 into our coffers which allows us to compete with the bigger teams and helps meet the crowd criteria for the licence then I don't give a rats backside what they wear, look like and what they sing. I am there with my mates watching the game with a pint in my hand so who cares?
