Hopefully only a fine but who knows. Would be a right kick in the teeth if we lost the two points, especially considering we should have had one more player on the field than Castleford at that point anyway.
I think it's happened a couple of times in the past, can't seem to remember what the punishment was though. Think Saints might have done it a few years ago and they didn't lose points but I don't think any tackles were made while they had the man advantage.

It looks like Griffin should have come off.Longy was at the back trying to sort it.But---------------surely it is up to the official on the sidelines to control the number of players on the field at any one time? At any rate, Tansey should have been off long before then.

In all seriousness though how is it the clubs fault we had 14 men on the pitch? What are the match officials doing, surely they should be held culprible for not doing their jobs properly.

Castleford Played 19 minutes with a player who shouldn't have been on the field, who was guilty of denying Salford a try with an dangerous challenge and contributed to breaks that resulted in two further Castleford Tries afterwards. and Castleford have put in an official complaint .... discuss

Well that makes deliberate foul play perfectly exceptable then.
Sorry but a pretty shocking attempt at a tackle if is wasn't an intentional attack to the head and with the few Gilmore dished out early on you wonder if they were pre meditated?
A few times in the game Alibert looked lost out on the pitch, all for the French getting representation where possible in SL but if he is the best referee they can offer up then they seriously need to go back to the drawing board. |

I never said it was acceptable but we should've had a penalty in the run up to it!!! Gilmour is past it, I don't for 1 minute believe he intentionally strikes people high. |
