| First four are definitely off. Rumour has it Fitzy won't be staying as McRae doesn't rate him. You'd imagine Littler and Alker only have so long left too.
Who would want to sign for us? Even Goulding had to have his arm twisted in to coming in on loan, let alone signing for us.

| I think you have stumbled upon one of the fears lurking at the back of my mind. It will matter not a jot if we get the rumoured 300k or whatever for Myler and we cant use it to build a team in SL. What player(s) are going to come to Salford if a major doubt exists about our SL future. Those who say the licenses are not given solely on Stadia are right enough and i understand that but unless we can get something moving soon players are rightly going to play safer and if it comes down to a choice of clubs and players can pick either Salford or Huddesfield/Catalans/Hull/Harlequins then im sure players will go to those clubs almost certainly gauranteed another three years at SL. Im not a total doom merchant but the three season licence is not helping us keep our good young players. Rumours of Turner & Myler leaving make me wonder if they know something we dont. On the plus side Adamson has signed so maybe not. All in all we will have to wait and see i guess. Its getting harder to be positive but we have to try

That's a good point actually, the vast majority of McRae's signings have been very good indeed.
That's actually made me feel a lot more optimistic about next season - THANK YOU!

Ah, understand you now.
It's still McRae that selects players to be signed though.
Simms simply completes contract negotitations AFAIK.

| Henry and Swain have been outstanding... Stapleton has been pretty good... Cashmere has certainly had some decent games... Big Phil rarely lets us down... Smith still has a lot to prove...
All in all... I don't think our imports have been that bad.. so whoever has signed them, be it McRae or Simms.. It's not been such a bad deal.

| Listen, with Stapo, Paul, Myler, Turner known to be going possibly Leuluai and prob a few others , guessing Fitzy and hoping Sibbit and Littler, we should have a quite a bit of wages to get in quality , I think McRae will come good, the reason I think he isnt shouting his mouth off at signings is, we struggle to attract good players and if we have a sniff of a chance for one, better to keep it quiet before another bigger club starts sniffing around. Also, we have supposedly a nice chunk of money coming in transfer fee so I would either hand to McRae and bring in some top drawer, or use it to get something started on the ground ,
