| Salford City fell to their third succesive defeat with a 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Radcliffe Borough. A soft 87th minute penalty denied the Ammies a share of the points following a 51st minute equaliser from Glyn Barker.

| Just back from the Tangerine Club after celebrating Salford City's first win in four games with a solitary Steve Foster earning the Ammies three points and a double over Witton Albion. Next up AFC Fylde away next Saturday.

| Not a typo, but Leigh actually won a game tonight! rl3-2 winrl in an absolute cracker. Very sound performance from Rob Flint (ex-Ammies, albeit only a couple of appearances). In the battle of the brothers, Leigh's Nathan and Marvin McDonald were comfortable victors with a goal apiece over Trafford's Jamie and Chris Baguley, with the former also managing to provide something of an assist for our third goal - sweet to say the least with him being an ex-Leigh player!

3-2 seems to be the popular score last night, with a certain game at Bloomfield Rd finishing 3-2, and FC Utd losing 3-2 at Kendal.

I thought I already had! Where did my posting go?
As you say it was a superb result and performance today. Fozzy will grab the headlines but it was an excellent all round team display. That was AFC Fylde's first defeat in 14 games in all competitions. The last one being in mid October when the Ammies beat them 3-1 at Moor Lane with guess who scoring all three!

No timescale really, depends how long it takes for another club to undoubtedly come in for him.

| FC Utd won 2-1 at Hucknall. Good win after coming back from 1-0 down with 15 mins left.

| Salford City fell to a disappointing 2-1 home defeat at the hands of Bamber Bridge this afternoon. A spectacular goal from Tommy Turner had given the Ammies a first half lead but defensive frailties and a strangely muted second half performance saw the visitors grab two goals and all three points.
It's back to league action this Wednesday 16th February, kick off 7;45pm with the eagerly awaited trip to Trafford's Shawe View ground.

| To gutted/depressed to post after Salford City's 2-1 defeat at Trafford last night. Played well in patches, had two shots cleared off the line and Steve Foster missed a penalty and an open goal at the death which would have given us a point. That's 5 single goal margin defeats in the last 7 games which in my opinion have to all intents and purposes ended our play off hopes.
This coming Saturday it's next to bottom side Ossett Albion at home and hopefully a good opportunity to get back to winning ways.

| Salford City returned to winning ways at Moor Lane this afternoon win a 1-0 win over struggling Ossett Albion courtesy of a late Steve Foster penalty. The final scoreline failed to underline the Ammies overall superiority over relatively poor opposition but justice was eventually seen to be done. Next up is another home game this coming Tuesday, 22nd February, ko 7:45 pm when Warrington Town are the visitors.
