Carney would be awesome, he's not giving anything away about his future though. I expect a number of changes again come the end of this season, due to our quota numbers if nothing else.

In all fairness Carney’s name was being mentioned quite a bit around the ground on Sunday by the right people. There’s no doubt that we’re interested, which is what you would expect from us with a quality player. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him in the NRL though, certainly good enough.

The issue with Carney would be the quota.

Can't see Mullaney, Tasi, Smith or Chase going.

I still think if we are going for someone else with real pace for the back line Dixon at London (as let's face sad as it is they are treading water until relegation already) or someone brought in from RU would be the direction the Doc will be looking.

Do we know who our quota players are? If one of them is Francis Meli, then Carney becomes feasible as a direct replacement.

He would be a great signing, but we know from many years experience that rumours are rarely true. Unless Kevin Sinfield really did sign for us and is now on a career long loan to Leeds.
