You'll do fine , once you get a couple of players in and the team can get a bit of consistency, you will start to pick up points , maybe not play-off qualification but you'll be fine

Just back in Lloret after the game (so back on free wifi!). Disappointing result given them being down to 12. 2nd half we were in our half far too much given we had the extra man. At times was like we were down to 12 not them.
Call for the red card seemed to come from the stand. Theo was taken out and play went on, was last tackle so we kicked the ball on to them. Their next tackle was completed & play was then stopped with Theo still down. Only while he was being treated did the ref seem to get info from the stand, called the 2 linesman over, they had a chat then he called their player over and showed the red. Llay was restarted with a penalty to us.

I don't know why people are disappointed? We were on deaths door a few weeks back flogged all our best players filled the gaps with Wigan and Warrington academy/fringe players aswel as our own under 20 lads from last year and put them with the fringe players we had from last year, you've got a pretty poor team right there! With the exception of broughton Williams McPhearson and Dixon who i believe have the quality. Until we bring in around 9 to 10 players of quality were destined to struggle badly! It will be totally different next year and the years after until then we'll just have to put up with the drubbings.

Ok folks, none of us are happy with getting beat,

But what we have got to remember these are kids who last season were playing in the u20s league, and are now plying there trade against MEN, 1 month ago we thought there were the best thing sliced bread when they beat Swinetown 52 sumthing, and York put 40 past Swinetown this weekend, but now they are in the superleague playing against MEN. its a BIG step for them.

We need to get behind the team , encourage them support them, im not expecting a win next week against leeds, if we get on the scoreboard i will be happy.

Im sure PV and SL and the rest of the backroom staff and the team are working there socks of to improve each week as much as poss, 2 or 3 players are not going to make us a winning team overnite, give them time and your support,

What we need on the 23rd is the WORLD to turn out and support the team,
get behind the lads , lift them as much as we can as fans, and hopefully give then the lift they need to win the game, it is what they deserve as a team, its what they need as a team to get one win under there belts and lift them.

I as a fan felt sorry for Murphy last week, the lad was on a hiding to nothing,
on loan from wigan, playing against wigan, and not the first 3 touches of the ball ANY PLAYER WOULD OF WISHED FOR, but the poor lad was given s h i t through out the match and didnt need it or deserve it. He has come to help us out, we may not like wigan as a team or any other team in the superleague for that matter , but these young lads have come to try and help us out in our time of need.

so get behind the team as a team, not players just cuming to us because they cant get in the first team where they come form.

SO once more more get there on the 23rd and give the team the lads your support as fans, and bring them the win that they deserve, and if they dont win , dont get on there backs, cheeer and clap them for turning out for us, most if not all those players could of gone somehwere else in the last 6 months , be it a supoerleague club or a Championship club.

Don't worry too much. From today's game, I can only deduce that we want to get in as much tackling practice as possible before the WCC. It's the only explanation for the amount of ball we coughed up.

We are really lucky,massively so,to be where we are.
Lets make the best of it and support the team and staff.
Once and for all,the future is not promoting the youngsters before they're ready.
It's going to be really difficult to do this but we have to put everything behind the team in the knowledge that there will be wholesale changes for the better.
A month ago,we'd all have given our right arms for what we now have ie survival.

Can only agree with the sentiments expressed by Bonita and Red in Buxton...and others who have urged restraint in our criticism. We are alive..that is really all that matters right now. To be taking the field as uneven as it is for us right now represents winning...the scoreboards may get uglier but we were so close to expiring i cant get worked up. Lets get behind whoever is wearing the shirt and be forgiving for the inevitable difficulties that will happen.

I just saw Evalds' try v Catalan, it was excellent.

I think they can build the team around him.

Was a very late and deliberate challenge on Theo. I don't think he intended to hit him in the head, but he did intend to catch him late. Should get a lengthy ban.

Evalds try was a good one. Showed plenty of confidence and took it well.

I don't think anyone has really moaned on this thread. Was disappointing we did not put up more of a fight against 12 men for 77 mins. It's going to be a tough old year but we all knew that.

Good to see Murphy have a decent game after his shocker last week.

Pretty much this. Saying "it's not good enough" probably made it sound like I was more annoyed. Even with the man advantage, I still didn't expect us to win. I just hoped we'd either at least score more than one try or keep the opposition from scoring only 2 points less than a full Wigan team the week before (although that was at home). You won't see/hear me booing the team or giving the players abuse or anything like that.

So what your all saying is that all players now are above criticism.

I except its going to take time to build Rome but I find it ridiculous that some players are constantly making basic schoolboy errors and are getting applauded for simply just turning out. We're talking pro rugby league players here what somehow can't do the basics right. 1 try in 2 games is a disgrace at any level and even that try took some scoring.

John Kear hit the nail on the head in that the scores don't matter rightly so, however individual key performance indicators do, to which most our players are failing at the minute. A new spine 1, 6, 7, 9, and 13 needs addressing as soon as possible. Having played this game I find the errors being made totally embarrassing at this level.

And before people start slagging me off I know Rome wasn't built in a day and we've had a turbulent time and its a new squad what hasn't played together but some of the errors being made are under 10's standard especially that defensive line.

Having read Phil Vievers post match comments I think he would agree with you.
