surprisingly accurate

Nice time to play in Perpignan I'd have thought, just before the summer heat really gets going but perfect for us sitting out with a few beers till late.

Iam suprised no one has blamed the club for a fixture that they dont agree with, they get blamed for everything else.

Making it a weeks holiday this time, staying in Spain & travelling over for the game. Might be a wee bit cheaper than 4 days in Perpignan, cost us a fortune last season


Really do think Perpignan rip the travelling rugby fans off, so decided that the appeal of "happy hours" + full english brekkie's are better value.
W/end in Perpignan last season cost for 2xadults & 2x kids in region of £1400, got "all inclusive" for 7 nights for just over £1000 this morning.

Think I'll be heading for Girona via Murkydive, flights seem cheap enough at around £100. Gutted that the match potentially clashes with Utd playing in the Champs League Final but I'm sure it'll be easy enough to get a train from Girona to Madrid. Do you reckon there's any chance of them moving the Cats match to the Sunday to accommodate us Utd fans?



Also, can anyone recommend any decent (ie cheap) camp sites anywhere on the coast within reach of the train into Perpignan? Think I'll take my own tent as I've had it 12 months and not tested it out yet!

Think I'll be going via Eurostar, spend a few hours in Paris then get the night train to Barcelona and take it from there.

I seem to remember Yorkshire Red trying to arrange a Eurostar cohort last year, did that go ahead or did everyone just fly?

Ginge and Mike went via Eurostar and Yorkie Red was banned from France as usual.

Eurostar was pretty good last year. Definitely one you should try if you haven't done it before.

Magic Weekend game has been announced at Warrington. Let hope we show up a bit better than Cardiff where the team fell apart and our 200 fans were slightly shown up by their 5,000.
