| Can't fault the effort, but frustrating that we've now lost two very winnable games due to being so depleted. Its a measure of our improvement that we can go to a team we've not beaten away in a top division game since the early 90s (I think) without a first choice winger, two first choice centres, two first choice half backs, a first choice prop, first choice hooker and two first choice back rows, and with our first choice fullback playing on one leg, and lose to a late score.
Loads of heart of the field but lacking a bit of guile and game sense at times that meant we put ourselves under pressure or failed to capitalise. With all the good work we did it's a shame that Hull's second half tries were so soft (and a shame the ref didn't spot the clear forward pass for their 3rd try of the game) - but fatigue is a factor there, with players being n the pitch linger than they'd normally be expected.
I doubt there's a team in SL who would do much without both first choice half backs, but we're now looking at a couple of tough games and the situation doesn't look like it's going to get better soon enough for them.
Hats off to wheoever came up with the "Griffin, Griffin, run it off" chant after G Griffin was down injured.

I agree with the exception of saints. Don't know how they win so many with Wilkin in the halves. But even they have improved since Walsh has come back in. We've seen how Warrington struggled without Myler, Hudds without Brough, Hull KR without Campese last night, Catalans without Carney.
but we've faced 2 teams when we've had neither 1st choice half available and they've had both of their's and only lost by 6 in total. And should really have 2 or 4 points out of it. Definitely a sign of how far we've come, how much more strength in depth we've got and hw Harris has got them playing, especially defensively

| Id just like to pay tribute to the salford fans. Good numbers and made some noise.
I thought salford were unlucky to lose last night. For me, the better team.

Our first choice 1-13 (well mine away) is:
1. Evalds/Locke
2. Jones-Bishop - Didn't play!
3. J.Griffin - Didn't play!
4. Sa'u - Didn't play!
5 - Johnson
6. Chase - Didn't play!
7. Dobson - Didn't play!
8. Morley - Didn't play!
9 - Lee - Didn't play!
10 - Tasi
11 - Hansen
12 - Hauraki - Didn't play!
13 - Paterson - Didn't play!
I'd say we put out a second team if you want to call it that!

If Hull finish in the bottom 4 as they look like doing - then I would be worried about where he plays if I were you.
He signed a SL contract & as Gareth Hock would confirm - all contracts are negotiable.

| Even if we don't finish in the 8, we will easily finish in the top 3, I wouldn't be so confident about your chances if you don't improve your injury and disciplinary record.
If I was Taylor and Radford is still coach I wouldn't sign for Hull, but he will be at Hull next year, credit to Salford and Harris as he has really kicked and looks a better player now than at Wigan

| Salford in"Everyone [including timekeepers, even though they are from the RFL and are independentis against us revelation,if Koucash spent more of his valuable time running his club, rather than trying to run the sport and its Governing body, who knows what he could achieve,as for injuries,no other club makes half as much noise as Salford do regarding the issue,it's something EVERY other team has to deal with, but only Salford are making the headlines about it.....why is this?

It's actually just so folk like you can come on here spouting outraged indignation - part of care in the community I think.
Feel better now?
