I know some London fans were having trouble queing up for ages then being told they need to go to another ticket counter or something like that.

Hundreds still outside at kick off in a queue for tickets. Surprised really as it had seemed to be not too bad at the previous two games.

| What has impressed me massively - before this game - apart from the magnificent [iesprit de corps[/i has been the seamless introduction, following the injuries,of players into the side and the ability of the players to adapt to various positions. Not only that, but the players coming on at the interchange are superbly up to speed.
I'm sorry to single anyone out,but it proves the point, when Jordan James failed to score shortly after coming on
shows how difficult it is.
It seems the very long apprenticeship taken by Phil Veivers is reaping the dividends.
The interchanges, and the timing of them, helped to negate Broncos when they were making lots of metres through the middle during the 1st half.To me,it indicates the fitness levels of the squad are very high.
Any chance of thumbing a lift to France ?

Of three people who that I know, two came last week and queued up where they did last week, only to be told at the ticket counter that the cash was only behind the home stand behind the goals.
The other one first time at the stadium asked some stewards where he should get his ticket for the west stand, where we were, and was told go behind the home stand behind the goals, he did and when he asked for a ticket for the west stand he was told to go back to the main ticket office who then told him to go back to the other one Fred Karno's really.
Stadium Company aren't very well organized yet, all were happy with what was on show.

| Just to clear up the problem we had with tickets.
We were led to believe from your site that access to your ground was £20 to all areas.
We queued up at gate W4 & when trying to pay in cash at the turnstile, were told we had to go to the West Stand ticket office & buy a ticket, then use that to gain entry to the ground.
We then joined a very long queue waiting to purchase tickets. After being in this for about 10 minutes, one of the Stewards suggested that if we didn't mind standing, we could pay in cash at South End turnstiles. We rushed round there as the match had already kicked off only to find another long queue & be told that you can't pay cash at these turnstiles, so had to go back & rejoin the queue at the West Stand.
Luckily, after a few minutes, one of your supporters told us they had opened up a window for away supporters only, so we were able to go to the front of the queue, to get our tickets.
Finally got into the ground just in time to see Salford score their first try.
Hopefully, your Management will make the entry rules clear to away supporters, as had we been Leeds or Wigan etc there is potential for massive amounts of fans not getting in to the ground on time.
Well done on a good win & many thanks to all your fans, especially those in The Unicorn pub for making our trip a memorable experience.

Unfortunately we are in the hands of ticketline for the tickets, club have no say, my mate was stopped just after he got in because he had the wrong season ticket, because he had been on holiday he had no idea that all season tickets had been re-issued, the steward just said well you are in now and let him on his way.
Redjohn if you are reading this remember to contact the club about the re-issue.

Anyone who was caught up in that fiasco should contact the club and complain. I was stood in the queue at the south stand waiting to get a ticket. Didn't get into the game until 15 minutes in. Made more ridiculous by the fact i am a member and did actually drop in midweek to get it only to be told that as member i cannot buy before match day.
Credit to the stewards though near the south stand TO who took a load of flack from fans and then decided that this was utterly crazy, went into the ticket office, grabbed a load of tickets and just started taking money for them simply to get the queue moving faster.
As for the game, belting performance. I know its early days but we are looking really handy as an attacking team, finally we are not just trying to run it up the middle and I am loving it. Wish we could stamp out the last 20 minutes lack of concentration/stamina problem though.

| thats another question why can't members buy tickets before the match, would ease the queues at the ticket office on match day, but what would i know about selling tickets, we have the experts Ticketline to do that and they know best.
The problem is no matter how good the team is on the park if people can't get a ticket they won't come, when Salford ran the ticket operation we didn't have these problems.

I've posted this elsewhere, but as it's relevant here as well:
I'm not entirely sure the club can be completely absolved of blame, neither, as is suggested elsewhere. Weren't the STs printed by the club and organised by the shop? There was also something on Facebook from the club suggesting the reason members could not buy tickets in advance was to stop people from buying more than one ticket on one membership. I'm not sure what the point of a barcoded membership card is if it cannot capture that data?
Even all of that would ease the pressure on cashless turnstiles.
If it really is Ticketline's decision then the club need to be leaning on the and the SMC quite heavily to get things changed. It really would be in the best interests of all three parties.
