| If, and/or when confirmed, it will prove that as a Club we have no money, no ambition and no intention of changing the culture of mediocrity that plagues us.
Stick your blue seats up your F***ing Ar*e!

| This appointment doesn't surprise me at all and if I'm being honest I don't have a problem with Phil taking over. The players seem to like him and be on his side instead of fighting against him and that's half battle won IMO. I know player power shouldn't dictate who's in-charge but, if you have a good relationship with your team your more likely to get that extra 10/20% out of them. So IMO a good choice.

| some of the comments on here, must have been the same with the intorduction of the spinning mule, the luddites are still out in force, look lads, lasses if you are not happy do what they did in Wigan when the price went up to £5.50, get a banner stating your point and stand outside the ground every match. In Wigan's case the banner read won't pay more than a fiver for Rugby League.
What would your banner state:-
"Sims otu"
"Mat Paris fore couch"

| Before the usual suspects come on to tell us how this is proof that the club is going to hell in a handcart, I'd like to be the first to say that I think this is good news. For me, the team showed enough improvement under him last year for it to have been a bit of a surprise he didn't get the job first time.

| Hm, points conceded whilst Veivers was in charge 517 including a 60-0 loss to Wire at home, 52-20 at Cas and 52-22 at Shudds also got nilled at home off HKR, won 9 lost 11 or summat like that.
The wins included beating Wire on there home turf which was an obvious high point and smashing Bradford...unconvinced anythings gonna change really and we really needed it too this season.

| One year deal seems sensible enough. Gives the club enough time to find a proper replacement for 2013 if he doesn't cut the mustard next year.

| Was the most obvious choice to settle a very rocky boat. Under the current circumstances, probably the right choice for the time being.
Good Luck to the fella.

| I'm not surprised, would an experienced coach such as Noble or Kear be willing to work under someone with Simms reputation?
Goulding would do a Parish and open his mouth.
Vievers is a safe pair of hands and will be seen as a yes man, he wont be telling people to keep out of the changing rooms or telling certain players who are gloating on twitter to lose weight.
The club have shot themselves in the foot, again.

If that's the case then Parish was the wrong man for the job as well.
