i might have gone over the top last night which i am sorry for but it was just a spur of the moment thing and my temper took over my head which like i said i am sorry for!!and a quick message to all the fans on here who slag me off for what i said are pathetic bacuse im the one that goes home and away week in week out where as i know a lot off people on here dont so theses fans who only go to home games because they cant be bothered going away and i know alot of people are going to reply to this saying we do go away but for those who dont go away but have got the cheek to slag me off we get around 3-4 thousand at home and 500 away what does that tell you for some of the fans on here....if you do go home and away then fair play you have your opinion against me but if you can only be bothered going once every 2 weeks dont bother slagging me off and try and go home and away!!!! as i said i am sorry for what happened last night and we will take it from there

The sooner the likes of Callumisared and Ave it! along with a few other people? are no longer associated with the club the better for all concerned.

The outburst's that they both appear to be admitting to are are an absolute disgrace and they should ashamed of themselves and there is not one decent fan that I have spoken to recently who want this type of person to support the club or even belong to the Forever Reds.

The problem with people like these is that you cannot have a normal discussion with them at any time unless they get tanked up beforehand and it is quite strange when some of their targets are actually in attendance at meetings etc how quiet these people are.

No one is entitled to verbally abuse anybody whether they have paid to watch a match or not and the length of time that some people have been supporting the club(5YRS) is nothing and again does not entitle them to verbally abuse, threaten, or physically assault people(which throwing a pint of beer is)

For what it is worth the players, coaches,officials, directors other staff and supporters are working hard for the club what are these people doing?

The coaches make errors, so do the players, and so do we all but these pale into insignificance compared with damage that the likes of Callumisared and Ave it! are doing with their stupid comments and actions.

Please stay away from now on.

Absolutely right - some of the posts on here recently have been well over the top - we can all criticise and disagree but to resort to vile personal abuse is never justified and completely counter productive - perhaps some people think it's funny to refer to "the slug" -certainly doesn't make me laugh or have any respect whatever for those who do it.

Dear Callum.......

a lot of the posters, have been going 'home and away' for some 40+ years, just like me.

We've seen it all in that space of time..............from the finest side never to win a major trophy, to heartbreaking semi-final defeats, fantastic 'against all odds wins', and yes, rugby just as poor as you are witnessing at the moment.

It's all part of being a Salford fan.

Don't expect too much, even IF your still going 'home and away' 20 odd years from now. It just might never happen.

I'll forgive your rant, as I want us all to pull together, whatever the outcome.
Just a word of warning though, personal abuse will not be forgiven if it persists, because the truly loyal Salford fans are totally sick to death of it. It's not helping one bit.
So, either put up with what you get from our beloved club, or, give up following Salford.

Calm down everyone! What Callumisared has done is wrong, to abuse the coach the way he did and then post about it is utterly stupid.
I remember when i was 18 many moons ago and there were plenty times i said and did things under the influence that i regretted in the morning.Young people make mistakes but its how they learn from them that counts. He has come out and apologised and he should apologise to the club and coach as well.(i don't think he abused JW?)At the end of the day he has not Killed,injured or hit anyone and i think the coach will have a lot more things to worry about than what a drunken 18 year old has said! To start to talk of banning people for one mistake is wrong. I think a warning and a stern talking to is much more appropriate.
The club and coach have to except criticism but it must be done in the right way and through the right channels. This is why we should all join Forever reds to discuss things properly.
The young lads who post on here are very passionate about the club and are not the devils that they have been painted out to be. They all should be encouraged to show that passion in a more positive way.
Lets not all fall out with each other at this difficult time. We all must get behind the club and the coach till the end of the season. Rant over!
