If Wigan had sent a three man delegation to Australia, held interviews, sounded out the opinions of people in the game in Australia, come back home leaving one of their party there to finalise contracts and get the man signed up properly and then arranged a Press Conference with nobody knowing who it was going to be we'd all have said 'That's the professional way to do things.'

Tomorrow it seems we're going to get the name of a young, ambitious Australian coach who is out to make a name for himself and take us up the table I hope. Whoever it is, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. He will have a lot of work to do if he is to make us really competitive in all our matches, but I hope he can do it.
